Slippers I made for when I go to the hospital to have my baby Grin Made from a McCalls vintage pattern.

You can't tell from my crappy phone picture, but the bias tape is navy, it was really the only color I had that even remotely matched.

The straps are a marbled burgundy snuggle flannel, the top sole is a quilted and batted fabric, the inner layer is thick fleece, and the bottom is canvas.

By the way, I hate bias tape. I love using it, but suck at it so bad and always have to redo stuff:P

These are really one of the best cloth slippers I have seen!  They do look intricate yet comfortable!  And they sure beat those nasty hospital slippers!

I'm going to adjust the pattern later on to add some foam padding for extra comfort and maybe do only three sets of straps instead of four. I have some people interested in some, but I want to make sure I have a nice comfy slipper pattern before I make them for anyone other than myself. I was just wanting a thin slipper that I could easily take off and on for my hospital stay and something thin to not take up too much room in our hospital travel bag.
