My mini dachshund, Chloe, will stand up and dance for a piece of food, so her daddy asked if I could make her a tutu so she could be a ballet dancer. I said of course and found some tulle in my stash and whipped one up. I just tied strips of it around a scrap of elastic. Of course Bear wanted a tutu too. He dances for food on command, but I need more tulle for his. I used Chloe's tutu as a ruff (I think that's what it's called?) for him instead since he never misses a chance to be on Craftster. lol. Excuse the mess in the background. I had just woken Chloe up so she didn't want to cooperate.

Dressing up a dog is like dressing up a baby...As long as Mommy & Daddy are thrilled, how the dress-ee feels is irrelevent.  Grin
I think they look adorable.

Hehe, she didn't seem to mind that much actually, just that I woke her up. Of course I had to put the tutu on my cat who will let me do just about anything to him. Seriously, I can hold him upsidedown and it's a few minutes before he cries lol. Bear keeps trying to eat the tutu, so I had to hide it from him.

aww. adorable! i have though of making one too, but never came around to it. my dads chihuahua looks JUST like cloe.( none of our chis really look like a chi lol), and she will stand up and spin to get food too. and my chi tolerates me fitting her clothes and what not, and LOVES the attention she gets out on walks, but hates wearing her clothes all day.. theyre weird they are. great job tho!
