I love the leather inchies!  And the steampunk tree of life is a cool new take on an oldie but goodie.

Love the celtic knots. I have one tatted on my shoulder.

Mr. YumJello should be proud. That is pretty epic

It was his first!!!  I told him last night that nilmerg received and we'd get on today so I could read him all the comments on the necklace - it's absolutely stunning in person, it's so delicate!

Received the following awesome inchies from when_im_sixty4 yesterday, and used the scanner at work (which I'm not supposed to use...) to post these because they are too awesome not to show off. She came up with the three themes (Supernatural, The Little Prince, and sock monkeys) all on her own, but I feel like she must know me. Smiley I'm very pleased with all of them.

Here are the beautiful little inchie gems sent to my by ac!

Okay, so the middle column obviously plays to my love of commie imagery. Plus a funny commie pun

Why do anarchists drink green tea?
Because proper tea is theft!  Grin Grin Grin

Sorry, sorry, couldn't resist. The column on the left is all letters and stuff. The little envelope actually opens and has a teeny tiny note inside for me! The top and bottom of that column have inchies with characters from the Javanese script on them.

The column on the right is my favourite. It's all based around the Javanese script again (hanacaraka). You see, when you write hanacaraka out in a chart (there are 20 characters, so it's written out in a 5x4 chart) you actually end up with a little story

ha na ca ra ka
There once were 2 messengers
da ta sa wa la
They had animosity towards each other
pa dha ja ya nya
They were both equally strong in battle
ma ga ba tha nga
Here lie their corpses

ac! has illustrated this beautifully using the most adorable little birds. I'm so jealous of her use of colour and ability to draw!

Oh bugger. Just realised I got the order of the inchies wrong. Please in your mind, swap around the two inchies in the middle of the right-hand column. The one with all the writing on it actually says 'padha jayanya'.

How was it learning to write hanacaraka? Did you find it hard to make it look legible? (I did at first.)

I love so many of the inchies that I wouldn't dare try to mention individual ones.

I will say that Mr. YumJello is sexy.  No; I've never seen him, but any man that can make something that gorgeous has to be sexy.  Seriously, I don't love jewelry but I love that piece.

dablondeemu:  Have you not received yet?  I can't understand why a simple envelope is taking so long to travel a few states.  How long do we wait until we assume that something went wrong and send a new set?

pioneer9- I am so green eyed right now over the Supernatural Inchies. Not yellow eyed because that would be really bad, lol. I love them to death. Adding those to my inchie theme wish list. Cheesy!
