Or at least my sister's kitties do... She asked me to make her some catnip eyeballs, inspired by these, sometime last year, and I finally got around to it. Yes, they are different sizes -- I was experimenting...

I'm gonna make some more for my other cat-loving friends if I have enough fabric left.

I used a baseball pattern that I found online to make the balls, but they didn't come out round enough to satisfy me (maybe they need to be stuffed more?). Anyone have any tips for making balls?

LOL, buffalogirl! My sis just told me that she had to take them away from her two kitties b/c "I thought they were gonna OD on them, or at least rip through the fabric. Jet was actually LICKING one of the eyeballs trying to get to the catnip."

So apparently the kitties love them!!!

I'd say they need more stuffing to be truly round. The first thing I had to learn when making plushies was to use about 10 times more stuffing than I thought I needed. *lol* These are awesome!!

I use a diffrent pattern for my eyes and round things and they come out round with a little or a lot of stuffing the more stuffing the better. her is a pic of the pattern piece I use It is the same pieces that they use for beach balls and the like. You can use 4 or 6 pieces depending on how wide you make the pattern I change it up for what ever the ball is needed for.
you can find lots of tutorials online on how to use the pattern

I hope this helps
