I came home from work tonight to find a lovely little package waiting for me from spidermom...

First, note the clever way she packed it.  Yes folks, that IS in fact a cassette tape case!

And look what's inside...  a sweet little sewing & fashion history matchbox!

For those of us who like to see what kind of a packing job can be accomplished:

And all the goodies spread out to see, including buttons, a button shaped like a thread spool, ribbon rose, a ring shaped "create" charm, boot, sewing machine, needle and thread, teapot & teaspoon toggle clasp, a winged star, some paper bits including a dress form, sewing machine stamp and tape measure, snap, and beads!

I have to say, I really REALLY love the little winged star charm.  I can't wait to decide what to use it on!  (And I'm totally keeping whatever that is for me.  :-D)  Thank you so much spidermom!  I love my tiny sewing treasure.   Kiss

uhoh, with all those great creations being posted in this forum the swap anxiety is setting in....... Undecided Now I feel my matchboxes wont stand up to the competition.   It's great to see the possibilities one has when decoration such a small item, though........ Smiley!

I'm never having kids, I hear they take 9 months to download

aw thanks guys!  i've gotta give credit to my old man (hehe) for the cassette box idea!  he suggested it while i was pacing around the house trying to figure a way to package it safely without sending it in a huge box  Cheesy
