Fred and George arrived safe and sound at my workplace yesterday, though I was a little messy getting their envelope open so they were covered with little fluffs of paper (what are those USPS enveloped made of, anyway?  That stuff flakes and sticks to everything!).  They spend the rest of the afternoon sitting on my desk grooming themselves, and I later found out that was a good thing, that they were busy... but more on that later.  Once I've removed the cranberry sauce stains from the ceiling.  How does one remove cranberry sauce stains from a ceiling, anyway?

(I think they were just wound up from the long journey, I'm sure they'll settle down.  It's not like they're hyperactive teenage boys who like to pull pranks and practical jokes or anything... what?  Oh...)

Weather is still pretty icky here, so I'm not sure we'll get a whole lot done today, plus I'm fairly injured (a long-standing wrist problem and a bum shoulder aggravated by shoveling the drive, plus an injured ankle from the same.  And I so used to LIKE snow!).  But we'll be out and about starting next week, I'm sure.  Cheesy

***Tom and Mel's mini gallery***

I've sent the guys home and here were their adventures in Monroe, LA and

The Biedenharn Museum consisted of 3 parts: the home, gardens, and coke museum

-we totally bought that coke for a nickel and drank it in the garden

-"we're king of the world" lol

riding on the coke delievery truck - oops no touching the museum props

end of tour

university of Louisiana at Monroe where I currently attend

"dont eat us oh mighty bronze warhawk"

checking out the art area

Mardi Gras

"throw us something mister"

Bingo night at ulm sub - my student fees at work

there wasnt much decoration so the guys played around in piles of bingo cards

The radio station

rocking to the best of the 90's and some 80's

very nice station manager

Take you LV to work/ internship days

this is a cool park I chill or eat lunch at between appointments

library exhibit-retro children's books ued to advertise products-hmmm interesting

Historical cotton port/ antique alley

lovely coke mural on the side of an antique building in historical cotton port area

this is one huge antique market

this used to be the town theater way back when now it is an antique market

we were absolutely allowed to take this picture on an old movie projecter
that was once used for the Rialto

I enjoyed the LV's
