Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Okay.. I'm going to join the fake Mini Art Quilt Swap.  I now have my deadline and once I finish up my real swaps, I'm going to fake join that swap.
I already know what I want to make... although I might end up going overboard and making it too large if I go crazy with it... I hope my fake partner won't mind!
I want to make something like this...
When I saw it the other day, I fell in love with it...
I also want to make a crab paper pieced wall hanging with swirls and whatnot.  I cut the picture out of the keepsake quilting catalog and then found out that the paper pieced crab design was free on the designer's site!  The rest of it I can figure out on my own since they are regular blocks  Smiley
Sooo.. Yup.  I am going to commit to join the fake Mini Art Quilt Swap...

Oh my goodness! That colourful quilt with the curves is GORGEOUS!
I adore it. I might have to join the art quilt swap as well.

The goodies in the matchbook box are wonderful!  What a lovely design on the box--your partner is very talented and thoughtful--I wish I had done that swap! Cheesy

Love the solar system necklace...and the pouch fabric is perfect for this swap!  I can't believe how versatile your partner is with the skills--from sewing to jewelry making!

Yarn or Thread--you are going to push me into doing the Mini art quilt swap... Cheesy

I've been thinking about making some Colette mini bloomers, but I just can't get a start on it - so I'm going to fake swap. The swap is closed, but still active and I'm going to use their three week crafting time.

Swap: Colette Mini Bloomers
Size: 1 pair
Sendout: March 14

Also, I haven't seen our organizer around since last month - superhooker, are you out there? Wink

I love looms.

Hey, look what arrived today!

My partner made a screen print from a drawing of my daughter's. She apologized for the quilting, as it is only her fourth time using the quilting foot on her machine. But I think it looks fine.

somehow the back didn't line up quite as well as she'd hoped.

Also, to save me from making my own birthday cake, she dropped this off!  Cheesy

Thank you, partner! for making it a great birthday!  Cheesy  I know you stayed up late last night to make sure it was done for today!
