This hat is designed to fit the average child from ages 2-6. The hat fits comfortably on a child with a head circumference of 17-19 inches. The hat has a height of 10 inches and a width of 17 inches.

The pattern was improvised, here a not to scale image of how its made:



The side slit is where the ears are placed and the bottom square is where you attach the ties

The hat is lined with red cotton and quilt batting for extra warmth for those cold winter days. The exterior features red and pink cottons and decorative Kitty ears to make it the kind of hat your child will actually want to wear when going out into the cold.

That's very cute!  I can see my daughter wanting one . . . I'll need to keep her away from this post!  Cheesy (Too many other things I need to get done!)
