The fact that it is pretty common doesn't lessen the pain or make it less important and tragic, but at least we can feel less isolated.  I felt defective.  I am worried that because I have auto-immune disease that my body will always see a pregnancy as something foreign it has to expel.  It scares me to death and we haven't tried since this happened.  But maybe I'm just like so many other women whose bodies miscarried and went on to have a baby.  Who knows?  But at least I can feel connected to others through this art piece.

You have to go with your gut & what your Dr. may suggest, as we're all unique & have different experiences, but part of me wants to tell you to try again. I had two healthy (best creations to date) kiddos after I was diagnosed with MS. It wasn't easy, but I wouldn't change a thing! My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family.

Check out Trinkets & Jewelry! Wink

My thoughts echo what everyone else is saying, but this is incredible.  So moving, striking and emotional.

I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you the very best during the healing process that you're going through.  Sending love and hugs!

Thank you for sharing this very personal piece with us. You're so strong!

You ,are such a courageous woman to share this with us.  I have been through the same thing and am still childless, but I am now at the place of 'what will be will be'.  That piece of art has tremendous healing properties.  Thank you so much.  xxxx

Cry What a powerful piece of art. You have showed your anger, fear, sadness all on one piece. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could help make it better for you however we all know that we all heal in different ways and you are an inspiration and hope this helps you but also by your courage share that could help other that have suffered the same tragic fate. Hope you begin to heal and that things work out for you one day

this is a very strong piece. so often people think it couldn't happen to them, or that it isn't that big of an issue. but it is a loss and it is painful.  it takes courage to express it. we were very private about our infertility treatments, and our miscarrage. i think speaking up and saying "me too" is part of the healing. i recived a letter from my grandmother talking about a loss that she had over 40 years ago.

interested in a private atc swap-i am collecting ATC cards to be framed in a collage and auction to raise money for Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma research. (ACCRF) project blog-    atc4acc.blogspot.com

This is a beautifully tragic piece of art. I hope it not only helps you, but others to heal as well.

This is such a beautiful piece... and hugs from someone who has been through the same more than once... but also now has a beautiful little girl who is 10 months old today.

Your piece is healing just to look at, I imagine it was more so to create.

This broke my heart.  I can't even fathom the amount of courage it must have taken to suffer through that, create this and then share it with the rest of the world.  You are a most commendable woman.

Boil up some Mtn. Dew.  It's gonna be a long night.
