inspiration: http://thekathrynwheel.blogspot.com/2010/12/calendar-challenge-2010-11.html

The Kathryn Wheel is a large inspiration for me, I've loved looking at her calendar pages and yesterday I decided to make one too. I found a six page board book, perfect for twelve months!

Here is January! Each square is a water color inchie.

What do you think?

That is wonderful! It is SO much prettier than the store bought calendar I have on my wall...
Thank you for the link - I can see that I will be spending some time on that site!

Audio, I knew I loved you but now I love you even more!  I've been inspired by that blog for so long now.  It's in my feeds and everything.  Every month I think, I'm going to make one of those calendars, and I fail miserably...so my goal for 2011 is to do one for every month since I am not behind yet.  I couldn't decide if I wanted to do inchies or use my circle punch, and I still haven't...but after seeing your watercolors and January page, I'm even more determined!!

Love this so much and thank you for sharing!

Am taking a crafting/posting hiatus and formally withdrawing from all the CAL's I was in.  Need time to recharge and rewire.  But, I am still lurking and loving you guys like crazy, keep posting the amazing projects!!!  You all rock!

It's beautiful!

I some calendar pages I made months ago and only got as far as glueing some basic inchies down, no decoration or anything and promptly forgot about it. I really need to get back to it! Cheesy

That is absolutely beautiful, much better than the one I have on my bill paying desk.

I love this! What a great idea. Maybe this would be a good use for some of those battered old board books the kids have.  Grin
