I'm starting on both claims today once I get back from the post office to ship other swap goodies.  Or maybe before.  I hate going to the post office, lol!

I'm two days out from the b-day and not a peep from the hubs as far as a gift goes.  I'm thinking he's going to pull one of his excuses as to why he isn't getting me anything (in 11 years, he's gotten me birthday presents like once or twice--he SUCKS, lol).  Well, two can play at that game.   Angry  I see the rest of the month full of "headaches."   Shocked

Wow- I've been claimed by both elliot_anne and beadheadchic! I'm super excited since both claims are a bit of a surprise!! Thank you both!!

I'm going fabric shopping today for my first claim and plain to have it in the mail this weekend. I need to pick someone else to claim now too... It's like crafty karma- I've been claimed twice, so I have to make at least two claims to keep it going. lol.  Cheesy

Actually, that reminds me. Do you have to claim for the same amount of people that have claimed you?

So so excited about this swap - am off shopping tomorrow!

Nope!  You just need to send one package.  Smiley

A few other reminders ...

  • Make sure you have a variety of items on your list.  If they're all one or two types of crafts, then you're limiting who can claim you!
  • This swap is for a medium item.  That means it takes around 2-3 hours to create.   I've seen a few things listed that I would classify as larges or extra larges, and while it's okay to put a few bigger items on the list, you should have mostly mediums.
  • Cross your items off your list so potential claimers know what you're already getting!
  • PM both myself (kaz814) AND Troublet with all communication.

Cheesy  Thank you!  I hope you all are having a lot of fun!

I got one fingerless glove made!! It looks pretty awesome if I do say so myself! I'm not going to give full details but they are a crocheted version of one of the sets of the gloves stellato_escuro has on her bday list! They almost look knitted that's how cool they are turning out!!

I have to finish up an angel package before I get too much farther on them though! But I do think I will be making more of them!!

My kids are dropping like flies today so I have gotten nothing done.  One was sick earlier, one came home from school sick and now I'm waiting to see what happens with the third.  At least if they are all sick, I can throw them all in bed and sneak away to craft as they sleep.  Horrible, I know.

I bought some of the missing supplies for hardyswanton01's belly dancing belt, and will hopefully be able to get started working on it tomorrow. It's probably going to be heavy, but very SWISHY!! Not to mention juuuuust a little bit blingy, for the fun of it.

SMLounsbury...I would ask your husband for some money in the amount of an item that you really want, and buy it for yourself, and then come home and give him the receipt and let him know he just bought you a birthday gift.  I feel so bad for you, b/c that is just not nice of hubby to not give you something!

I am crafting away on "lady claim #2's" items, and just bought some buttons for one of the items.  I also bought a few storebought goodies for her.  I hope she likes them.

While I was at the store, I also bought some yarn and nifty buttons for llisaredds item I am making.  I have been eyeing and petting this yarn since Michael's got it in (yes, I have issues  Roll Eyes) but refused to buy it until/unless I had a project for it.  Now I was able to buy TWO!  Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!  (I also picked up some storebought goodies for llisaredd and a tiny little something for her children.)
