i wanted to have an anime christmas tree but the bookmark ornaments where serving to be a challenge since I didn't have the materials ready to make it. I venture into my other love Hello Kitty. I used stiff felt, glitter felt, and regular felt. I love stiff felt. It is so easy to cut for small pieces. I have a progress shot. From me working on adding the whiskers. I hand drew each one and cut out each. This is a long process but I love the results. It felt so good to see my almost finished tree glittering. I also made three with glasses to incorporate more of the colors of my tree. I still need to add a few more things to my tree and then I'll update this post with my finished tree.

I drafted the pattern by looking at a picture of hello kitty but the glasses I made up on my own from remembering a nerd hello kitty picture i saw once.

Thanks for reading.

Update: I wanted to make a wreath to make the hallway more inviting. I bought a basic wreath from Target and then mini bulbs. Made some bows and added some Hello Kitty ornaments! Smiley

Oh my word, I LOVE them!!!  I so wish I had such an idea earlier.  I am doing Hello Kitty gifts for my daughter this year and this would so be a nice touch, too!  I need to check my stash of goodies for supplies! Cheesy  LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

Thank you! Now it is updated with new pictures!  Grin

I forgot to mention these crafting projects i think i spent like 8 dollars at the most making the hello kitty and like 40 dollars at the most decorating my tree (including the 8 from making the hello kitty) and buying the wreath and decorating it.

I forgot to take a picture of the matching tree skirt... such as life... lol.
