The new hoops are awesome!  The jellyfish is adorable and the coffee hoop is a  great idea- I might have to 'borrow' the cut out idea Smiley  And the mermaid is lovely.  I've never watched Firefly, but Mal is so well done!

I hate how it takes so long to travel from the US to Canada. Sad

sheriffkarli told me she just received her hoop in Canada and I sent (from the US) on Dec 30th.  So, just a little over two weeks?  Unfortunately, it seems like the hoop she sent me might be MIA since it's been almost a month  Undecided

Pro personal swaps and always open to a penpal!  PM me =)

LOOK AT IT! Cheesy

I know you hate me and that's okay because I would hate you too.

Best TMNT by far and he's cute and he's randomly quoting one of my favorite scary movies.

My hoop from Pixiefirefly was waiting for me when I got home (late) last night, and I'm just now getting to the pictures.

She sent me this lovely Union Jack, as we both feel that we may have accidentally been born in the wrong country. Do I detect a bit of crayon tinting?

And a pretty artsy close-up, because my camera continues to shock me with it's skills to this day.

Thanks to both my partners for such awesome hoops! I'm glad you liked yours!

And some more information about the hoops I made, in case anyone is interested. I made the pattern for the owl myself from a photo. Stitched using 2 strands on 22 count white aida, 14 colors. Roughly 6600 X's. I also made the pattern for the gears, this time from some clipart. Stitched using 3 colors on 14 count black aida. The red gear is actually done with rayon floss, which was a new experience for me, but I loved how shiny it was!

Thanks to everyone for the great feedback!

I find that crafts are very good time wasters. If they aren't for you, then you are one of those rare individuals who know what you're doing!

I've received from both of my partners, and not only are they both firefly based, they're both on the same character!!

From AlmostDawn (I got this about a week ago, sorry for the wait!) She got this off my wist Cheesy

And Sugarbunny, just got this in today. I love the hat!!! The patterned stitches are way cool, byt the pompom and tassles are my favorite part. I love the 3d-ness of it!

Shiny! Gotta love Jayne & the Jayne hat! It has appeared 3 times in this swap so far - shows what amazing taste people in this swap have.
