THANKS EVERYBODY!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy!!

I love this idea!
Did you stay around to see if anyone took them?  Or go back later to see if they were still there?  I'm so curious as to who ended up with the hats.
I love the anonymous randomness of the donation....great job.

actually we did. we went back up the blocks to see if any were taken. Out of the 11 that were hung, 3 were taken. Here's one that was placed by Monique that was taken within 10 minutes

then while we were goofing off, without even noticing, this lady swiped one. it wasn't until I was about to pull off in my car that i noticed it was gone. When my friend looked through his photos, we coincidently got a shot of the lady in the background

Nice work!  What a huge hart you have to do this.

I'm just curiouse....how do you feel about not homeless people taking these?  I mean...a lot of energy goes into that...I'm sure lots of people are attracted to them... I know I am hehehe. It would not suprise me if people who crave hand made and don't even know it will be very attracted.  So really, your feeding a soul, homeless or not

It is surely heart warming to see such generosity

several co-workers and friends has asked me this. Even though we deliberately placed it on blocks where most of the homeless people resided, i just feel like whoever needs it will take it. we saw several people make double glances at the hats but didn't grab it whatever reasons. i dont care if the person is wealthy, a hoarder, poor, or middle class. Want it? Take it.
