I'm 17  Wink

I agree w/ everyone...wear what you're comfy in.

Truthfully, if some 17 year old is looking at you, she probably isn't thinking, "what the hell is she doing dressed like me?!?!,"  but is probably thinking, "that's f*'ing awesome!  She looks great and totally comfortable with herself, I hope I can be that rad when I get her age

Exactly! Recently I've sworn to myself that when I get in my 30's and 40's,I'm gonna be like the girls from "Sex and the City" minus all the sex.  Wink Mainly just dressing like them and living the life that most 30 and 40-somethings don't live.

Wear whatever flatters your body, and makes you feel sexy and good about yourself.  As long as you don't have a mullet, your clothes don't really matter... your personality and attitude exude (rhyme! eep!) and that's what people see.

And about certain fashions being "in," don't waste your time.  You'll always be wearing clothes right before or right after they're popular.  It's frustrating.  People will make fun of something I like, and then everyone will have it a month or two later!

Ugh, I hate when that happens.  Not that I'm way ahead of the fashion world or even vaguely running alongside it, but my friends give me the weirdest looks when they see my diy stuff.  About a month or several later, they all want me to make them stuff.

Oh yeah, I'm 20, possibly the most annoying age ever, atleast when all your friends are several months older.

Unless, of course, you have one of those more recent "fashion mullets" that look completely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!  Then...you could wear a paper bag and look awesome.  Seriously...

...okay...I'll stop with the photos.

No wait, this is the BEST one:

Where exactly in the yard?  On the croquet lawn?  By the bird bath?  Marty, where do you think we should bury these babies with webbed feet?  The back yard is getting very crowded i think.  positively littered with corpses.  First daddy's and now duck babies.

I love mullets. Grin People either love or hate mullets. I've yet to meet someone who was indifferent about them.

I say whatever you do, those 2 rules should apply :

1. Wear stuff that fits you. For real.

2. Wear stuff that you like. Fashionable and non-fashionable clothes alike, whether they are usually intended for older or younger people, all that matters is that whatever you are wearing suits your real tastes.

Jack E. Ohhh, I was totally against mullets until I saw your pictures.

I keep cutting that little fringy thing at the back of my head while I'm growing my hair out, but I think I'm going to let it be from now on.... damn.  Hot.

im 17! and i agree that if i see an older woman wearing something she looks comfortable in and doesn't make her look old and drab, i do think "hey thats cools"

what i don't like is people showing their midriffs, well thats anyone by the way, i say save it for the beach.

i also dont like it when i see an older person who is only just squeezing into a shirt designed for a 12 yr old. or wearing tops that say "bite me" or something like that. ACTUALLY all these things apply to all ages, i just dont like those tops.
