Mmmm those look delicious! I just skimmed this post quickly, so I hope I'm not asking something you already said, but are these similar to gingersnaps?

I always get disappointed when I bite into a spice cookie and they are too thin and crispy like gingersnaps, so I am ALL OVER THIS RECIPE!
