So me and my best friend went to Infinitus this past July. If you don't know what that is it's a huge Harry Potter convention/conference in Florida. It was complete with it's own Yule Ball, once we heard there would be a ball we set to work making Dress Robes.

I went as Luna Lovegood, my dress robes weren't based off of any actual outfit she wore but more my own design based off of her personality. I made the dress I wore underneath as well there are just no photos of that. the collar of my robe was adorned with white, yellow and green swarovski elements

My friend went as Hermione Granger and her dress was loosely based off of Rose from the Titanic's dress as shown in the link bellow. I did not make the dress she wore under her robes however I did do a slight adjustment by adding some lace to make the neckline a bit more modest.

GOR-GEOUS! That convention sounds awesome. The green robes are so lovely and Luna-esque.
