I finally finished the Sock Critter Puppy I knitted for my unborn niece.

cute!  the animal in my avatar is the sock critter lion, which I made for my youngest for xmas.  I had similar complaints about the pattern.  specifically the ears, which I made smaller than they called for, but were still too big.   Undecided

rottenlittleboys I feel your pain. I'm currently crocheting a hat that the yarn is tangling into a mess. I was crocheting along and as the yarn was pulled from the center out came a huge tangled knot. So crocheting as been put on hold as I try to unknot it without unraveling the hat.

All you crochet and knit people are making me itch.  I'd like to do some too, perhaps some lace thingies like I used to make, but I have a big ole rug to finish and I won't let myself get into anything else yarnie until it is done.  Arghhhh..  Keep up the good work. I really am lovin' seeing what you all are making.  The baby stuff is just adorable and the hats... Oh I love the hats.

Not allergic... I just refuse to start anything using my crochet hook until I finish the rug.  I'm making it from torn up fabric....  guess I do have a medium eh?  I was saving it to work on when I went to babysit a surgery patient for a couple weeks, but she skipped the surgery so I no longer have the comfort of knowing I will work on it on date certain.  It has gone back to being a nag!

Now... if you want to talk knitting.  Forget it.  Can't do it.  Stopped trying.  I am a lost cause!  I take my rug and hook to the knitting parties and sit in the corner  Embarrassed

I used to think the same way. It is a lot easier than you think it is though! There are a lot of different methods for learning, it all boils down to learning it using a method that works for you.

Lovin' the projects being posted...baby things...=]
I've been working on a few things, too:

for the granddaughter!

a tea wallet, my own crazy design and from stash items.

a proper granny blouse... Cheesy a trial of an easy pattern...I'll find some other fabric to make up another.

Here is the swap items I knit up for the last swap I did, well, you can see them here:
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=370570.msg4391085#msg4391085
cup/mug cozies and a scarf...=]

Keep trying new things, learning to knit or for me, to sew, just takes time and effort!  I couldn't knit 3-4 years ago and didn't think I would ever learn!  This old dog does learn new tricks!  Roll Eyes
