I've just started the Dukan Diet. It's basically a high protein, low-carb diet that consists of an attack phase (only protein foods), a cruise phase (protein days and protein + non-carb veggies days), and a consolidation phase (where you add everyday normal food back in.
I was wondering if there was anyone else on here, and if so, if anyone had any good recipes?

Well, it sounds A LOT like the atkins diet, except it doesn't want you to make life long changes, which is the main problem with the atkins program (it is difficult to stick with for life, and once you go back, you are exactly where you were to begin with).

I've tried everything under the sun, and the one diet that is low carb, easy to stick to, and stay with forever I have found is the South Beach diet.  My family has some serious weight issues.  Recently, many have either tried surgery, or South Beach.  Both with great success.  Atkins tended to send my cousins on a roller coaster of extreme weight loss and then extreme re-weight gain. 

I have not heard of the Dukan diet but if it is anything like Atkins, I would switch to South Beach.  Whatever you choose, good luck.  It's great that you've chosen to make an investment in your health.  It's well worth the change!  Happy Holidays!

I am not a doctor, but it sounds like the attack phase is designed to get your body into a state called ketosis... there is a wealth of information and mis-information on the internet regarding the safety of putting your body through ketosis.  I would definitely recommend that you do your research before putting that amount of stress on your body by changing your diet radically like that.  You should also be aware of the potential side effects.
