After finishing a big crochet blanket I wanted some easier projects.

I had this fluffy, sparkling yarn in my stash for a while and it worked real quick. I like the colors together (the light blue was a scrap from another scarf I made two years ago).

After that I tried a simple hat without a pattern:

When that worked out, I decided to try Soulemama's pattern.

I liked making that so much, that I started another one. I had to recalculate the stitches a bit, because this is thinner yarn:

And I made a matching neckwarmer:

Next on the needles? I still don't feel up to big projects, so I think I'll make another one of those hats...

Lucky, lucky you to knit fast and pretty and have so much fun out of it. Right now I nearly despair over a hat for a birthday present. I like the hat/neckwarmer set, esp. the button. I'd like to wear that on a cold day.
