Hello friends!  I have been productive lately; or I should say "since my friends are so re-productive"  Grin, and made another bib for a friend who is having her first boy. This bib was inspired by my other good friend who had a baby and named him "Cutter". Well, he is about 6 months now and when he is happy, he is super happy and smiley and adorable! But when he is mad, you better watch out, there is no calming him down! So I made a reversible mood-warning bib for anyone who might want to approach this new baby, whose name is "Calvin". Cute cute cute.

So here's the bib front:

"awww", right?!  Who wouldn't want to hold and cuddle a happy baby???  (Notice the Craftster emoticon, I love them    Cheesy

And here is the reverse side:

OH! WATCH OUT! Cranky Baby does not want to be touched, soothed, poked, or cuddled!  You have been fairly warned by the bib!!!   Angry  (The cranky face is the same color as the happy face, but got washed out in this pic, oops)

And a couple of stitching shots... (split stitch)

also with the applique:

I need to work more on my satin stitching over larger areas... So after a few washings the yellow of the face will probably show through. Oh well, live and learn!

I missed the shower because of a previous commitment, but was able to see them when Calvin was 5 days old and give them their gift of the bib. I also had a second bib that was a cute patterned flannel.

I appreciate your comments/criticism/suggestions!

Hehe I love this  Cheesy. I may totally have to steal this for some of my re-productive friends

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
