Hi Again!

I wanted to share this maybe not so creative project with you because it is soooo useful! It's a table runner that doubles as a trivet and rolls up nicely for storage. Now I can keep bowls of hot food on the table during meals.

If you want to read more about the process or how-to's, visit this page on my blog:

Now, on to the pictures!

Thank you for letting me share!

Actually...that is FREAKING GREAT IDEA!!!!
I am totally going to make one!!!!
It makes sense because when you are doing the big feast all your hot dishes are on the table.
I have a little collection of antique trivets, and while they work, they are not too stable under a big dish.
WONDERFUL IDEA!!!

I really like this idea and am surprised I've never seen one before. It makes so much sense! Great Job!

This is SUCH an excellent idea and I don't know WHY these haven't been around forever! I don't cook much (I'm trying to change that...), but one of my biggest peaves is trying to find a safe spot for everything - where it won't burn through whatever I set it on AND it's accessible. And this is DECORATIVE, too!!! What more could you ask for?!
