Sew In Love

Well it's been a while since I last posted some pictures of my projects.  Between moving, pattern design classes and getting married I was a little busy.  But still managed to get a few things done!  I'm missing a few pictures from some of my projects but I will post what I have.

First is my wedding dress.  Now I can't take all the credit for this by any means.  My good friend Barb was the magic maker here.  But this is what we came up with when working together-

This is the top which I loved so much.  I for some reason always wanted little peaks on the top of my wedding dress.

Fun one sleeve silver dress I made for my bachelorette party!

Leggings that I ended up cutting to end mid-calf rather than at the ankle.  I'm obsessed with making them now.  Incredibly easy once the patter is sized up.

I know this isn't technically clothing, but since it is worn like it I figured I would post it here too.

And last but not least is my elastic cage skirt.  I am a plus size pinup model and so I wore this for one of my sets.  It's crazy comfy and I want to make a solid colored skirt to go under it eventually so I can wear it in public. lol

Thanks for checking my stuff out!!

Wow! It really shows that you are a model - you know how to interact with the camera and have a very nice face! I love that you wear different kind of clothing not just all dark and that things are fitted - you don't see curvaceous girls wear things like this here... I wish I did, though. I know that making patterns for bigger people is much difficulter though I haven't tried that yet. Good job!

Your wedding dress is stunning, truly amazing and you look just beautiful! Congrats on your wedding. Also I love the bachelorette party dress I bet you had a blast in that. I am terrified of sewing anything shiny eeeeekkkk. Good on you, you talented woman!!!

You are so pretty, the wedding dress is so different from anything I've ever seen.  It's great and you look fabulous.

The wedding dress is gorgeous, as are you and your bridesmaid!  I haven't been brave enough to try such an ambitious project yet, but would love to.  Keep up the good work!  Smiley

It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

Love the wedding dress! (and the bridesmaid's dress!)

Do you have patterns for the leggings? What material did you make them out of?

Also... we all want to see the cage skirt pictures!  Wink I wish i had the balls to wear one (although my poor other half might have a hernia ...!)

Working a sewing machine is harder to than driving a JCB. No, really.

I love the contrast on the wedding dress & the boquet is fabulous!  I wish I had thought of that!  Bobbles and bubbles and balls - AWESOME.

Sorry - kind of got caught up there.
