Hey 1boy1girl1kitty2, a local person to swap with - how cool!!  I claim you for the warm ankle socks and some fun fat quarters.  Grin

Allowed 3 outstanding claims
2nd claim / 0 sent / 0 received

My name is Karrie and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.  I am mostly a stay-at-home mom, but I do work from home as well (and I use that term loosely!).  Willow is 5, and Brighton is turning 3 this month, in just a couple of weeks.  I love to craft - I just love to make things.  My main hobby is paper crafting - I do wedding stationery (that's what I call "work" - so fun!!), and then I make cards and scrapbook pages just for fun.  I also sew, knit, crochet and cross-stitch - once in a while!

I love reading (Harry Potter, True Blood, Twilight, Mortal Instruments, etc) and I love general cute-ness.  I love good base colors (charcoal, black, cocoa) and I love colors that pop - turquoise, olive green, hot pink.  But again, general cute-ness means that pretty much anything goes!    I am always cold, and dress for winter all year round.  And yet I don't like any warm drinks except for hot apple cider.  go figure.  I love things that are comfy and cozy, so soft, fuzzy textiles are always winners!  I am allergic to cats and angora - they both make me red, and itchy with crazy red, watery eyes!  Not fun.

Crafts I would love
A scoodie like this:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=363685.0
Pincushions like this: http://uklassinus.blogspot.com/2007/11/its-all-gone-pear-shaped.html or other fruit shapes - but that pear is adorable!!
Ironing board cover (my ironing board is standard size)
knitted socks - all mine have worn out!!  Ladies' Size 9/10 either fuzzy wool, or self-striping, love both kinds!!
Made by Rae's buttercup bag
A slim fitted, knee-length skirt in charcoal or black - ladies' size L (or size 12)
Harry Potter shirt - ladies' size L :  Something fun like a mischief managed shirt...
Fingerless gloves like this http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall08/PATTslither.html (in black with black and turquoise stripes)
Dark Mark Hoodie like this http://www.wists.com/whats_her_name/17a26f5249f6b06813fd3cca1c35260e?offset=0 (love it!)  **1boy1girl1kitty2 is sending me a long sleeve t, so the hoodie is still on the list!!  Grin

For the Kids & hubby
Felt monsters like this for my kids:  http://twindragonflydesigns.blogspot.com/2010/09/monster-doll-tutorial.html  - I have one on the way, but I just know my kids are going to fight over it, so more would be great!
A construction/mighty machine pillowcase for my son (standard size pillow)
Fairy poppet for my daughter like this: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=355801.0
Hair accessories for my daughter - she's uber-girlie (flowers, pink, blingie, etc)
Sewn DS case for my daughter - again, with the girlie-girl theme
stencilled soccer shirt for my hubby (men's medium)
jammy pants for my hubby - men's medium.  Not fleece, just a light or med. weight fabric

Supplies I would use
Old shaker knit sweaters in white, pink, or blue, women's size L, regular neckline - I have a recon project for these!!
Oliver + S patterns - girls' size 6, boys' size 4 --> I do have a few already, so you might want to PM me to find out which ones I've got
Moda "Hunky Dory" fabric - or pretty much anything along those lines
A soft, fine wool in a charcoal or a cocoa color - and plenty of it!
Jumbo Jump Rings (I don't have a Joanne's here)
Insulated batting for making potholders (can't get that here either)
pretty stitch markers for knitting
sweatshirt fabric in black or charcoal
heavyweight fusible interfacing
White Ladies fitted Ts in L and XL
sewing machine needles (regular, denim and jersey-knit ballpoint)
decorative zipper pulls of all kinds (my selection here really sucks)
Any Amy Butler bag pattern (except the weekender bag - I've already got that one)
Scrabble tiles, Dominoes, and pretty silver bales
Any 1-step resin kit; I can't seem to find that here either...

Thanks for claiming me!!

I claim whats_her_name for a pear shaped pin cushion and something else!   Smiley

Allowed 3 claims:
claim number 1 / 0 sent / 0 received

I am in Florida in the USA

Im in my thirties. My favorite color is robin's egg blue and jewel tones like purple, green, blue, aqua. I like black, gunmetal and silver too. I love birds (all: chickens (hens!), owls, fat yard birdies, penguins, parrots, hawks etc).  In general I prefer useful items as opposed to purely decorative except for the things I've added to my wists or my wish list below.    I love gaming like World of Warcraft or Myst. I like to read and am into fantasy art as well. Lord of the Rings is probably my all time favorite movie series. Star Wars comes in a close second though. Smiley  I am fascinated with the Tudors and love Jane Austen's books.
Allergies: I am allergic to cats and strong scents (perfumes etc) and cigarette smoke (gives me migraines). But if you just keep the kitties away from the things you are sending or give it a good brush off/shake before shipping, it should be fine.  Smiley   I am fairly certain I am allergic to mohair as well but seem to do well with other wools.

Dislikes:  I don't care for orange and most pinks, skulls, sock monkeys, pinup art or zombies.   And although I love the Twilight series, I don't need vampire things either.  Smiley

NO Candles (even unscented) or perfumes please!

Wists - please read the comments as I have made notes on what i like/don't like about the items:

Examples of fabric styles I heart....  so you can get an idea of what I like:

- wire wall cross with stone similar to the one on my wists

- stained glass owl or chickens (hen)

- hoop framed embroidery for my walls.   I'd like things from nature like hens, song birds, blue morpho butterflies, owls, monarch butterflies (there's a lovely one on my wist), fly agaric mushrooms,  tall and skinny bell top mushrooms that look something like this:
I might be open to your idea too if you have an idea for something I might like that I have forgotten to list, but since this will be part of my decor I'm a little more selective about what I would like to hang on my walls.  For example:  love Twilight, but do not want a Twilight hoop.   More nature oriented themes and not book/movie/video game type themes.  I might like a coffee one too if it is not just a cutesy funny one, but a more elegant/classical style.  Smiley   There are some on my wist I would adore too.  Smiley

- an owl themed surprise!  Thank you, FinRaziel!

- tea towels with birds embroidered on them (I have some bird embroidery ideas that I love on my wists)

- knit or crochet shawl (in black)

- ceramic / pottery bowls all sizes, preferably natural earthy tones

- leather bound journal

- Bella Mittens (pattern found here:  http://subliminalrabbit.blogspot.com/2008/12/bellas-mittens-updated-pattern.html - in the sidebar ) in grey just like the pictures and done in a soft yarn.  Smiley

- jewelry from my wists

- gocco or lino pressed cards in birds or simple botanical themes

- thread catcher like this one, but in a slightly different fabric:

- hand made buttons (wood, polymer clay etc)   I think in natural colors like polished plain wood or muted earth colors for poly clay

- DIY Kit - learn to make Coptic stitch books/bookbinding

- DIY Kit - learn wood carving

- DIY Kit - learn how to tool leather

- Christmas advent wall hanging - something like this:
but not done in felt. My mom made something similar to this when I was a kid that had a tree at the top with 24 pockets on the bottom (numbered) and a little mouse.  The mouse moved from pocket to pocket with each day in December.   I'd prefer it done it cotton fabric instead of felt.  Smiley

- resin paperweight(s) with real flowers in them.   Sarahj2001 has some really lovely ones that I adore:
I prefer the one with the flower intact.   Other flowers would be equally welcome.  I have not done resin, so don't know if there are any requirements for items but I like small roses, daisies, orchids, tulips, bluebells, cone flowers and lots more

- gem trees - beadedbyamy does lovely trees!  I'd love one (even small) or more than one if someone claims this.  I think I *need* a forest of them on my mantle!   Wink  Some examples of her work:

- Miniature paintings like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/26996313/cherry-original-miniature-painting-with?ref=fp_feat_10 I'd love a few of these with different subjects.  (saw this on another list and I want it too!  Cheesy)  Maybe of an egg?  Cheesy  My hens lay robin egg blue eggs.  Smiley

- antique postcard stamp like this one:  http://www.etsy.com/transaction/38749605

- owl post stamp like this one:  http://www.etsy.com/transaction/37756656

- custom stamp that looks like a wax seal!  The kind that used to seal letters with red wax like in Jane Austen novels etc.  Except that this is a stamp and I can just use red stamp pad instead and stamp on the outside of letters.   Smiley   I could use different ones of these.   Maybe one with my last initial (want this the most!), or a mushroom, or an owl etc.

- niddy noddy

- Wooden embroidery hoops....any sizes

- Dritz Fine Point Mark-B-Gone Pens

- silk (not cotton) embroidery thread

- Crayola washable markers -- the skinny ones that can make the finest point possible

- soapstone marking pencil

- prick and pounce supplies -- the pounce powder and tool to apply powder.  I have a very sharp tool to make holes in the design already.

- acetate sheets (clear -- just in case it comes in colors, although I've only seen clear)

- needle  threaders

- Tunisian crochet hooks

- sea glass

- gemstones -- faceted beads, cut and faceted stones (like stones in a ring setting), cabochons (smooth with a flat back).    Even smaller quantities would be welcome!

- Swarovski crystal rivolis (undrilled).  I would love a variety of colors and have a weakness for clear with AB coating.  Smiley

- sterling silver (.995) or fine silver (.999) wire in various sizes/shapes

- clear vinyl fabric (for making clear ID covers in wallets, that sort of vinyl and thickness)

- books! - I have some craft and cooking books on my wists that I would love to have!   Used are fine.  Smiley

- bookbinding supplies

- tea towels to embroider

- skeleton/vintage keys

- heart shaped hole punch

- superwash wool yarn

- glitzy stuff for adding to wool batts!  I love firestar and icicle top, but angelina is very welcome too.  Any color as I want to play with them all!

- chocolate pocky

- coffee from your area of the world

- chocolate from your area of the world

Thank you in advance if you choose me!

I claim FinRaziel for needles, yarn and *something* crafty.  I can decided officially if you officially need an official answer.   Wink Grin

This is my 1st claim/ 0 Sent/ 0 received

HI!  My name is Nicole.  I live in Wisconsin, USA.  I fit almost every Wisconsin stereotype..I LOVE cheese and microbrewed beer.  Cheesy  I'm allergic to ALPACA!!! Also to mildly allergic to dogs, bees, the color PINK (yuck!), people that litter, most metals and synthetic fragrances. Cigarette smoke is nasty and gives me migraines. Think of all the craft supplies you could buy if you quit smoking!!  My favorite colors are food colors: olive, mustard, eggplant and I also wear a lot of black and navy.  I don't like pastels.  I am married, have three boys (10,6,3) and my dearest kitty, Izzy, recently passed away.  (I'm devastated, she was my little love.)  I have a big goal for 2011; I'm trying to knit 500,000 stitches.  That is a lot for me and I don't think I have enough yarn.  I also have plans for my first sweater.

Crafted Wishes:
NEW-'The Nanny' inspired handbag.  Not a messenger style though.  I have bag examples that I dig on my wists and etsy faves.
NEW-Something inspired by Conan O'Brien's desk washing promo for TBS.  haha, this cracks me up!
****NEW-A Conan O'Brien poppet (this is bigger than a medium, I know...I'd die if I actually got one.  I'd probably sleep with him too.  haha)
NEW-Sock blockers (woman's size 7/8)
-Something warm.  haha, I'll let you run with this one.
-A floppy, knit hat.
-Handmade paper.
-Personalized stationary.
-***A recipe box that holds 4x6inch cards.
-ANYTHING from my wists.  (Most items have comments about them...why I like it or other ideas.)  http://wists.com/elociNNicole
-***A stuffed Warehouse Mouse for my 3yo.  (He loves Imagination Movers and I can't find a mouse anywhere!!)
-Miniature paintings like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/26996313/cherry-original-miniature-painting-with?ref=fp_feat_10 I'd love a few of these with different subjects.
-A handmade bookplate stamp.  (Message me with what I'd like it to say...our last names...)
-My ETSY faves are almost better than my wists.  ANYTHING from my favorites: http://www.etsy.com/people/elociNNicole/favorites?ref=pr_faves
-I LOVE scarves.  Especially fabric ones.  See wists or etsy faves for ideas.
-***An embroidered piece that looks like my recently deceased kitty.  I miss her so much!  (I've got a ton of pics.)
-Art quilt for the wall.  I'd love a tree with 3 apples on it.  Not too country though.  I'll leave the rest up to you.
-Handmade 'Recycle' stamp.  I'd prefer the symbol over the written word.
-Handspun yarn. (no alpaca)
-An obi belt.  Black fabric, or a reversible black/brown one would be awesome too.
-Not sure how it would ship, but I'd love a terrarium.
-A cover for my Kitchenaid stand mixer in a solid color.  (White or chocolate brown)
-Decorative pillows.  Browns, tans and beiges.
-Fragrance beads.  (Vanilla scented)
-An embroidered piece of a paisley print.
-Raw Honey.  A total longshot... If you have bees, I'd love some of your/their raw honey.
NEW-A winter wreath for my door.  Snowflakes would be perfect so I can keep it up longer than just for the holidays.
NEW-'You remind me of the Babe' cross stitch or embroidery piece.  (The movie Labyrinth)
NEW-A 'Piano Key Necktie' embroidered piece.  I'd like it positioned it vertically and made to look like it's tied.  Tied like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FZel8xdSoAI/SXnb0z-fvOI/AAAAAAAAAZA/MuHIEciEBmw/s1600-h/img-thing.jpg but I'd love it if the black keys were on the other side.
NEW-Cross stitch of an amazing and powerful quote taken from Conan O'Brien's final monologue. quote:  "Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen"

Yarn is a big wish for me as I'm trying to knit 500,000 stitches in 2011.
-Knit Picks Swish Worsted weight yarn.  http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/Swish_Worsted_Yarn__D5420153.html I just love this stuff.  I'd happily take any color.
-***0val wooden embroidery hoops.  I don't have any oval ones!  0val picture frames would be sweet too.
-**Wooden embroidery hoops....any sizes, the more the merrier.  (I've been keeping the work framed in the hoops so I've noticed my supply quickly decrease.)
-Wool Yarn (even wool blends is fine.)
-Craft felt...any colors, any blends.
-I have a Sizzix Big Kick and I'd love dies for it.  Especially snowflakes, holiday themes, LEAVES, geometric shapes. (I have circles already)
-***A frame/stretcher for silk dying.  (I have the scarf blanks, the gutta, the dye but no frame to stretch the work out on.  )
-The wooden mannequins used for figure drawing, I LOVE those.  I've always wanted a hand one.  (The animal ones are also pretty rad.)
-Snowflake stickers.  (I'll need a bunch for my holiday cards.)
-Blocking pad and pins.
-Yarn.  No fun fur or other novelty yarns please...I just won't use them.
-Those empty, clear glass ornaments you can fill.
-Self-striping sock yarn in very bold colors.
-This pattern:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-hudson-hat and maybe some yarn that would be appropriate for this.  (Bright, bold colors.)
-Yarn ball winder (longshot, I know.)
-Cotton fabric to be embroidered on.  (Solids, big pattern prints and small pattern prints...all is welcome)
-Vanna's Choice 100% acrylic, Worsted weight yarn.  I can't get enough of the eggplant color.  (specifically called 'Purple' Color 147)  I'd happily give any color a home.

-I'm a coffee junky.  I'll happily consume an unflavored sampling.  Especially if it's a local roaster.
-I love DARK chocolate.
-Recipes.  I'm always looking for new ideas and love receiving them hand written on recipe cards. (4x6)
-Burt's Bees products.  I don't think I've met one that I didn't like.

Anything new, I'll note 'NEW' in front of it.
***: BIG wish!

I love to live life in the fast lane, yet small town ways in my big city love for life. I am living at the beach but cant wait to get back to the city again some time soon.We are Coast Guard and who knows where that will take my family in a few years!
I am very edgy and girly at the same time. I love Pin up girls, sugar skulls, mermaids, pirates, and even mod but do not care for items that really have no use as I am really cramped here,

I claim jennilocker for a sewing supply package (#3 from her supply list)

1st claim this round

My name is Teresa.  I live in Ga. with my wonderful hubby of 30 years and our two grown daughters ( who have both returned to the nest to finish their educations).  I have a grown stepson and am Mimi to a 13 year old boy and 7 year old girl.   We share our little homestead with a pet cow, mini donkey ( he's something of a cute bully), three pygmy goats, and seven cats.

I use swaps to collect OOAK gifts for my friends and family so my wist reflects quite a variety of tastes.  Please read tags/notes carefully if you choose something wisty for color preferences, sizes, etc.  I am completely okay with you taking something from my wist and making it in your favorite medium rather than the one pictured.  I can't tolerate the smell of smoke or lavender.

New Enormous Wish Clothing for an 18" doll like the American Girl dolls.  I really really want a soccer uniform in purple/black/white with number 3 on it but would be thrilled to the core with anything.  There are some examples on my wist but honestly, anything would make me so happy!

New Huge Wish   A book safe made from one of the classics ( maybe a damaged one or one of those really cheap ones you can get now)

A set of handmade notecards in any of the same themes listed below for the altered journal.

An altered journal in one of the following themes:  words/letters/fonts,  trees,  bees,  leaves, clouds,  70's fashion,  mushrooms.  I prefer pretty, edgy, realistic in this rather than cute

New      bee themed hanging plastic bag holder ( not huge please)

beaded tree sculpture ( not jewelry) in amber/orange/brown (small, even tiny is fine)

anything phrenology themed

new  dolphin themed wall art for a bathroom

cat tent that looks "piratey"

BIG WISH black scoodie in fleece with hood part lined in something silky so my hair won't get crazy.  I would want silky inside black as well

sz. 2 black and white polka dot swirly skirt ( for a 5' tall woman) ( simple is great, doesn't need to be super swirly, just have a bit of swish in it)

sz. 51/2 mukluks with fake leather soles ( looking for that speed knitter again)

New  a set of dryer balls like the one's pixieval made in round 63

a set of fabric coasters in cranberry, dark green, and possibly cream ( simple is best)

one of those needlework magnifiers that hang around the neck ( used is great)
those wood-look plastic embroidery hoops, especially ovals
wool felt ( scraps are fine, its for a penny rug)
any Japanese craft book ( except crochet)
bias tape makers
Enormous Wish  any knitting or weaving loom ( any size, made of anything)
sublime stitching transfers for hand embroidery ( monkey love, zombies, or vital organs) ( It's okay if you've used a couple of the patterns and just send me what you didn't use from the package)
transfer pens
all purpose thread ( new please) (no black, white, blue, green or pink)
any green buttons ( any shade, any size, any amount)

vintage children's books
Bunny Suicide anything
cat toys/treats
gluten free treats ( people treats, not cat  Smiley)

Thank you so much for claiming me!

I claim gamemom42 for something phrenology-ish and some wool felt scraps.

This is my first claim for round 65/0 sent/0 received.

I'm a 26-year-old girl in Colorado. I teach English at a 6-12 Early College model school. Im married to a college English student whos obsessed with science and math (life is funny that way). We have four cats.

I love the colors black, white and red, as well as gray and yellow together. I love circles and spheres. I love odd sea life like squid and puffer fish. I love cryptozoology, especially yetis.I am fascinated by the relationship between giant squid and sperm whales, i.e. their blood feud, and would love something beautiful related to that.  I love red lipstick. I love dinosaurs, especially the aquatic kind. I love film noir, Mad Men and Mae West movies. I do my best to work a little 40s into my outfit every day.

I don't love blue, purple, orange, patriotic fabric, colored glue or puff paint.

Screen printing/stenciling:

I like my shirts to be girl-fit, size L/XL, and I like gray shirts with mustard lettering, or black/white, pink/black, white/black, green/white.

* a t-shirt or canvas tote bag with a squid and a whale battling.
    * T-shirts that say I would prefer not to, I could sure use a deus ex machina about now, and now is the springtime of my discontent. THANKS ERRKA!
    * A jackalope throw pillow, shirt, hoodie, or totebag. I would love something realistic rather than something cartoony. A simple silhouette would be awesome!
     * a shirt with Nessie on it that says "I Believe"

    * A knitting t-shirt would be awesome, too. Knit Fast, Die Young, maybe? There are lots of snarky knitting puns out there.
    * Mens 3x t-shirt that says I need a nap.
    * Mens 3x t-shirt that has Carl Sagan on it and says We are a way for the cosmos to know itself

    * .A glorious garter belt like this: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=128027.0 (I need something durable, mine keep breaking)
    * A leather, fake leather or vinyl notebook cover for my husband, to cover a 5-subject spiral bound.
    * These type pillows, except not pillows--framed in black frames. A typewriter font S and C. http://wists.com/myloveasdeep/47fe96d8e3e280f3bfe872b80e4d6028?offset=0
HUGE WISH  * A semicolon t-shirt, tote bag, or throw pillow.
    * a cover for my Kitchen Aid mixer in red, black, white or a combination. Polka dots are nice.
    * Big, wide belts for cinching the waist. at least 4 wide and 43 long, esp elastic
    * car trash bag that hangs on the back of the seat
    * These slippers lined with something warm http://tissupapers.blogspot.com/2008/06/elle-tie-on-slippers.html
    *bow belt http://wists.com/myloveasdeep/bd1d3de9514afea44817d71cbaf2e026?offset=20

*ruched jersey scarf in grey, red or mustard http://wists.com/myloveasdeep/3258d4addf7993530ae3f9c9cb30e44a?offset=60

Paper Crafts:

    * Design me some retro-looking Christmas cards using old 40s-50s advertising images. I only want 5-10 and they can certainly be the inkjet kind...I want to send cards this year!
    * A journal with an image of the Hermit from the Rider-Waite Tarot deck on the cover

   HUGE WISH * This satin-cord-and-big-beads necklace, in green/silver, mustard/silver or black/red. http://www.etsy.com/listing/62987604/green-and-silver-satin-and-colors
    * This bead-and-ribbon necklace: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/jade-beaded-necklace-with-ribbon?backto=true
   HUGE WISH * An Elva-style necklace: http://shop.elvafields.com/collections/types?q=Elva
    * Button pins of any size bigger than 1 which say: I would prefer not to, I could sure use a deus ex machina about now, and respect the apostrophe.
    * A semicolon pin or necklace. Love semicolons.
    * A jackalope necklace
    * a knitting necklace. Maybe a tiny ball of yarn with needles in it as a pendant? Probably a polymer clay project.
    * Scrabble tile pendants: a S and an H
    * upcycled brooch: http://wists.com/myloveasdeep/3890bdffd05b81fdc1bb8fbd361c6955?offset=20

Difficult to define:

    * At a flea market last summer, I saw a Jesus shrine made entirely of seashells and plastic flowers with a little plastic Jesus in the middle. It was unbelievably tacky, but had a strange beauty. I have regretted not buying it ever since. If you know what I am talking about and can either make one or have one, I love you.It would need to hang on the wall.  It was a bit like this, but had brighter, almost Day of the Dead colors: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ORNATE-SHELL-CROSS-PEARLY-CRUCIFIX-ITALY-/150521573913?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230bc8f219

    * If anyone wanted to make a small Carl Sagan shrine, preferably wall-hangable, that would be AMAZING. We plan to name our firstborn son Jack Sagan. If you go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSgiXGELjbc , theres a remix of some of his famous lines that means a lot to us as a family.
    * A Tarot shrine/altered art piece centering around the Hermit card

*a terrarium or terrarium kit

    * Smelly stickers
    * Brown fun fur. I want to make a Vegan Fox.
    * Mustard-yellow yarn of any blend
    * Velvet ribbon
    * A bleach pen and tips on how to use it for t-shirt designs
    * sequin trim
    * any buttons bigger than

    * The summer 2006 issue of Knit1 magazine.
    * salted caramel hot chocolate mix
    * Red pens: a teacher can never have enough. That and post-its.
    * If you live near a Chinese dollar store, Id love a knock-off Bento sort of thing.

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.
