Everyone needs some more owls in their lives! I love owls so for my first embroidery project I decided to make one. I'm pretty proud of it.

Thanks! Well I definitely got a lot of backstitch practice in! I've never done any sort of hand sewing/embroidery before, so this piece took me a while. I sew, but for some reason I detest hand sewing but love embroidery. All my sewing is done by machine. I would rather tear my own hair out than handsew.  Grin

It's actually printed on a floursack dishtowel. I'm not sure if I'll be courageous enough to use it until I make at least a few more "backups".

 If it's on a dishtowel, then definitely keep it for show! It makes a nice decoration. But, you still have to wash it now and then for dust. Or, just frame it behind glass!
