After about two years and almost 80,000 x's (is one stitch half of the x or the whole thing?), my Super Mega Punch Out Project is finished. It measures about 12" by 28" so it's pretty big and I have yet to find a frame that will actually fit it. I really don"t want to spend $150 to custom frame it so I'm not sure where it's going to go yet. I'm kind of sad to see it finished because now I have nothing to do. Sad

That's dedication! And fantastic Smiley

If you can't find a frame, since it's a flat piece you could construct and stain one maybe.

Thanks guys!  I actually started out stitching this for my husband and I just happened to finish it one week before his birthday *cough*almost3yearslater*cough* so this is what he's getting this year.  I think I'm going to buy some braces for stretching painter's canvas and stretch it over that.  That way I can customize the length.

epic.
oh, and ikea have very reasonably priced frames, and often have a variety of sizes. might be worth a look!

Thanks everyone!!  I will definately check out Ikea... I'm suprised I hadn't thought of that before because it seems like I end up going there atleast once a week.  It such a weird size though, that I'll be suprised if I find anything.  Thanks for the idea penelopewaits!
