My best guess... it would be like a really big half circle piece that you run a gathering thread through the curved part, if you know what I mean? Most of the shape and form is to do with how it is attached to the bodice however as it is not set in to the arm hole. Definitely play around with some scraps first. It would be amazing though, I'm keen to see pics if you manage to pull it off!  Smiley

why would anyone want to? Wink

playing around is a good idea, and it looks like a half circle to me too. i'd say you'll have to choose a very stiff fabric to pull that one off.
