Hello Washington Craftsters!

I currently live in Texas and I'm wondering if there is anyone interested in a penpal/swap buddy? Why Washington? My boyfriend's family is from Washington and we visit there at least one a year and will eventually be settling down there and so I thought it might be neat to have a buddy from there I could send letters to, swap with occasionally and meet up with whenever I'm there. His family lives in Tumwater, so anyone around that area would be great! Thanks for your time!

Hey Smiley

I was born in Oregon, lived in Vancouver 'til I was 3, then moved to Kalama and have lived there ever since, but I go to school in Kelso as of my sophomore year. (I'm finishing up my senior year right now). I'd be totally interested in being penpals/swap buddies <3 According to google maps, Tumwater is near Shelton and Olympia, and if taking I-5 N, Kalama and Tumwater are about 1h 12m apart, but there's another route that's nearly two hours x_x

PM me if you'd like.

I live in Spanaway, about 40 min from Tumwater. I'm originally from Oklahoma.  Smiley

Smiley Hi there, my name is Carly and I would love to be a pen-pal up here in Washington state. I live in Lynnwood Wa. which is just north of Seattle.
I'm 36 and still a newbie at all this crafting stuff. I'm learning slowly. I've finally practiced enough that I can crochet an even gauge of single stitch.
I've done some quilting, but I don't try to do it perfect.
I still need to learn to knit - I want to and I have two knitting needles.
I do basic sewing - a newbie at that too. I can mend, do a little basic altering, a sew a simple pattern.
In the kitchen however, I am a pro. And I'm not afraid to say so.
I'm married. Recently celebrated 16 years. And we have a 14 yr old son in high school.
I have a blog Carly's 21st Century Homemaker.
PM me if you would like to be pen-pals.
