Here is the ornament I got from sailorgirlbonk! It is incredibly delicate and beautiful. Each puzzle piece has a tiny hole in it for hanging on the tree!  Isn't this the coolest idea?  Thank you, sailorbonk.

I was worried that you wouldn't be able to see the cat wearing the santa hat through the background, but it looks like it came out alright! Glad you liked it -- I experimented a lot with various versions before I got to this technique.

I got this stunning!! ornament from patchworkdragon today. i just love it. She used my fave color and my fave animal. thank you so much, dragon, for catering to my wishes and creating such a lovely ornament. my daughter loves it, too and says I can hang it in the house year round.

Oh, those are great! I love all the variations on steampunk people have created.
