It's been quite a long while since I've posted anything at all on this board! Rather than exhaust you with all the work I've been doing, I'll just share my most recent winter inspired work! Smiley All three of these are watercolor.

First up are two 5x7 pieces.

I trust everyone knows who this Jolly old soul is?  Wink

A wee fairy home during the winter months.

This last one is just a hair shy of 8.5x11.

This is Yvonne, the Faun. Being a very particular creature, she wasn't just contented to be painted as she was, but insisted I dress her up for the holidays. Wink

How did you get the texture in the background on the last one?  What an awesome effect!

Thank you! Smiley The spotty snow-like effect is from putting different sized salt crystals in the wet paint and letting them dry. I used it a little in the painting of the mushroom house, but went all out with it on the Faun. Wink
