we scored this great buffet at a rummage sale yesterday.  only 15 bucks but the top is all watermarked up and some light scratches.  i didn't know if it was possible to stain veneer darker or not.  like if the sheet might have epoxies that don't take color as well.   muchas gracias Smiley

There is a post around here somewhere by redqueen where she redid some old furniture that had veneer, and it turned out really well. .
