MAKE SURE YOUR LIST IS MED as there are too many EXlarge items asked for. It is a MED swap and we need to remember that..If you ask for to many Mega items I will PM and ask you to remove them and or add a MIN of 8 true MED!!!

for this swap a MED By SIZE it is 2 OR more craft hours ( this is not cooking time, drying time, waiting around for something to set up.......it is craft time for the adv. crafter)

By Price is 20.00-30.00

few small things have changed such as You must take pics of your package before you ship & added you must post pics of your swap received within 5 days of receiving or have the sender post...

When sending PMs, please label them as OWS 64 with one of the following tags:
Package sent
Package received

So when sending the questionnaire, the subject will read OWS 64 Approval.
When notifying us about sending and receiving packages, add the corresponding tag. If you just have a general question, label it as that. This will keep things organized for us!  When sending a sent/received PM, please include the 'Send by' date so my craziness will stay at a minimum.

Please bookmark this thread and/or post here. All updates will be made here and this will help you to keep up with everything.

How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!

Try to imagine a chain.  The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from Ongoing Wish Swap 63.

Now, we want to put another link in the chain.  People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.

Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list.  They post a reply to the thread that says I claim Person A for [item].  This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received, (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed).  Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool.

IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE!  This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions.

Then comes the fun part!  After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!!  YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF EIGHT PER SECTION i.e. CRAFTS and SUPPLIES.  THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.

(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly!  Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.

Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link.  (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.)  Then they post their list, and so on.

When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain.  You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.

After you have made your claim, you need to PM that person for their address.

Friends of Craftster are allowed 3 wishes at one time, others are allowed 2 wishes.  If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish at a time until your crafts are received for this month.  Do not choose over your given limit.

If you already have one claim that will be sent out late, please don't claim again until that one is sent out.

Become a Friend of Craftster!  Go here: https://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php

If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives, NOT when you send.

***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***

Let's keep the quality high here. We don't want to receive PMs with people concerned over the lack of quality of their items.  Please, just work your hardest to keep the bar high on the quality of items here!  Don't choose just for the sake of choosing; choose to make someone else a really AWESOME wish!

Now if the thread gets in a rut for a few days/hours, the person who made the last wish should add to their list if they can think of anything else, until someone decides to craft for them. Please make sure this is not you!

Unsure of where to find wish ideas?  Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster.  Look through your fellow crafters wist lists.

( the medium can be a couple small items etc as long as it adds up to a medium )
( A medium item equals two hours of crafting time or $20 worth of store bought items )
Feedback will be given as soon as you have sent - received -posted pics.

Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner.  Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want.  After one week past the deadline you will have negative feedback.  This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s).  Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines.

I will be giving feedback in the following way:
-  great swapper: for those who follow all the rules
-  good/poor communication:  where applicable
-  sent late: where applicable
-  no dc number: failed to comply with the rule about using a confirmation number for packages within their own country
- didn't post pictures: failed to post pictures of what they received without an adequate explanation to their partner

If you are confused in any way by how this works, please look at some previous rounds:

HEHE..Now I get to play the role of MEAN organizer bad bad bad  Angry Wink Undecided this is all with love people really!!

OK, there is WAY WAY to much MEGA HUGE wishes listed in the list..Please read what a TRUE MED IS! Wishing for one or 2 large wishes is OK IF you have listed at a MIN of 8 small -MED wishes...

Really, some are asking for Mega huge all across the board and I have received several PMs about this not just one or 2 people here but most of us at one point are guilty..SO lets in round 64 GET THE CLAIMS BACK TO MED...It again is OK IF you have a MIN of 8 MED on your list to ask for somethign a bit larger ( like me I never remove the poppet off my list but it is there more for a mega surprise for me or someone to PM about something off the thread maybe) but really ladies and fellas we need to get it back to the MED..

I know I know I am being a butt and griping but If I don't who will ?? This swap almost needs to be changed to  Huge OWS at this rate LOL...XOXOXO to all I want everyone to have fun and want to play with us all...this is NOT to anyone it is to all of us Smiley

The Last claim of Oct was Thanate so she will start off Nov!!

Im located in Maryland, and am currently mostly a housewife.  I do a little bit of everything, and gently used materials or supplies are just fine by me.  Smiley  I'm allergic to tobacco, so please don't claim me for unwashable fiber or paper goods if anyone in your home smokes (even outside).

See my profile, or my swap info page for stalking info.

***some crochet coral! size & color are completely up to you (and even if you don't crochet, you should check out this link, because the galleries are awesome!)
*wool dryer balls--thanks, pixieval!
*unscented hand lotion (every time I use hand lotion my husband asks me why I smell funny...)
*a swiffer cover or two (any colors, so long as its washable!)--thanks, writer_crafter!
*pillow covers (the kind that zip shut) for standard sized bed pillows
*a pillow case or two for a body pillow (pm for measurements)
***a weeding tote: canvas or other sturdy material bag with a round bottom on which it will stand up on its own.  Im thinking about 18 diameter and similar height, medium sized carry straps, and no holes for things to fall out of.  (I have seen such things, but cant find them on the interneteveryone wants to sell me super complex bags full of tool pockets, which I dont need.)
*hand or machine embroidered patches suitable for sewing onto other things (see my wist/etsy favs for inspiration, or my swap info page for a list of motifs I like) --thanks, costumesaremylife!!
*handmade soaps (I prefer vanilla/nut/oatmeal/tea sorts of scents to fruit flavors, & lightly scented, please!)
*handmade paper
*rainbow striped or earth tones leg warmers (ping me for sizeI like long & slouchy, but I also have a pair that falls off my feet...)
*decorated push-pins or magnets (or both!)
***a pair of knucks!
*a bit of calligraphy-- pm me for favorite poems or texts

could be either crafted or bought supplies:
*nature-themed or old fashioned rubber or acrylic stamps (think pre-1930s: Victorian/Edwardian/Art Nouveau/medieval, etc)
*handspun/art yarn, in pretty much any amount (there are some examples on my wists under the yarn tag)
*or anything from the want tag on my wists (read the comments! they are important!)

*silk, linen, or other interesting material embroidery floss (I have lots of cotton already)
*quality glass seed beads (opaque sorts preferred)
*wooden DPNs to fill in my collection: so far I have sizes 0,2,4,6,8, & 10.5, so anything else would be great Smiley
*linen thread for bookbinding
*medium to heavy gauge colored aluminum jewelry wire
*laceweight yarn (odd skeins are fine, two per color even better!)
*some of the stainless steel core yarn: lions brand (wool/steel-- any color but cerise) or the Habu silk/stainless if you've got a partial skein you'd like to share!
*old fountain pen nibs
*a swift (a bit of a long shot, but used is fine & I can do basic repairs if needed...)

*leftover cool yarn ends from your finished projects (anything over about half a yard I can find some use for...)
*small to medium sized see-through jars/bottles (like old spice containers) to keep beading notions in
*old roadmaps or other large sheets of paper I can cut up to make book signatures
*interesting teas & candies are generally welcome

I claim THANAT for some Crochet Coral - How exciting.... I've seen some stunning Crochet Coral Art pieces and Always want to make some - but the "What would you do with it" question always held me back... Not anymore LOL...

This is my 1st claim, 0 sent and 0 received

Hi my name is Nat, I live in Canberra, Australia. I have 2 little kiddies, Megan is 5 years old and Elliot is turned 1 this year.

Whites or Pinks would be lovely.  This will be a gift for my niece who has a gorgeous amount of hair (unlike my daughter at the same age: P)  Here are some examples http://www.wists.com/NatACT/Oceanah

Anything Super Mario Brothers that would be suitable for a 5 year old boy. My nephew is Super Mario crazy and he will be one of the birthdays at Christmas time Cheesy anything like this http://www.wists.com/NatACT/Mario

Something for Megan. Ive been in craft swapping for a while (Ravelry mostly) and she is always excited to see what I get. This time she court me creating a wist list and had a few wists of her own Cheesy Here is Megs list, if you want to make Meg something I can let you know her measurements through PM shes a tiny 5 year old more like a US 4T AUS 5 http://www.wists.com/NatACT/Meg

I would love a copy of this book Crochet Shawls used would be great http://www.wists.com/NatACT/Books

Mario Brothers Amigurumi patterns. I love Yoshi but to be honest any Mario Brothers pattern would be great.
Vannas Choice Yarn in Chocolate colour Im in love with this yarn yes I know it acrylic but Im still in love lol Cheesy

Christmas Amigurumi patterns. I really like the skiing snow man or woodland Santa from this etsy store http://www.etsy.com/shop/bvoe668?section_id=6443571
But in saying that, something like these would be great Cheesy

Postcards I love to get postcards from my swap partners Cheesy

I claim spoopy for wall art ( cherry blossom or tree related, haven't decided yet)

My name is Teresa.  I live in Ga. with my wonderful hubby of 30 years and our two grown daughters ( who have both returned to the nest to finish their educations).  I have a grown stepson and am Mimi to a 13 year old boy and 7 year old girl.   We share our little homestead with a pet cow, mini donkey ( he's something of a cute bully), three pygmy goats, and seven cats.

I use swaps to collect OOAK gifts for my friends and family so my wist reflects quite a variety of tastes.  Please read tags/notes carefully if you choose something wisty for color preferences, sizes, etc.  I am completely okay with you taking something from my wist and making it in your favorite medium rather than the one pictured.  I can't tolerate the smell of smoke or lavender.

Big Wish:  Yoga Socks!  I desperately want yoga socks made out of wonderfully thin and colorful sock yarn.  These would be for my daughter who has teeny feet, women's size 5 shoe.   ( These may need to be removed from my list.  I've been told by one person so far that a pair of yoga socks is not a medium request.  I want them so so much and I'm hoping some speed-knitter out there will claim me Wink)

newBig Wish:  A uterus stuffie ( not knitted or crocheted).  I don't mind stuffing it myself if that would help with shipping.

Big Wish:  A girl's/women's fitted t-shirt in med. or dark blue, hunter green, gray or black that says  Smarmy  on it.  I would want this to be screen printed/ silk screened.  This would need to be either a small or xs.  This daughter doesn't care for those super long fitted t's ( she's barely over 5') but if you have a serger you could get one of those and hem it a bit.  She loves the t's at Target except for the length.  V neck is best but normal scoop neck is okay too ( none of those super wide scoop necks that fall off the shoulders  Thanks Mixer, still wanting on the silly post office to deliver this one.

An altered journal in one of the following themes:  words/letters/fonts,  trees,  bees,  leaves, clouds,  70's fashion,  mushrooms.  I prefer pretty, edgy, realistic in this rather than cute

beaded tree sculpture ( not jewelry) in amber/orange/brown (small, even tiny is fine)

newcrocheted fortune cookies or sushi  for the kitties (ours are in pretty bad shape)

anything phrenology themed

newdolphin themed wall art for a bathroom

newany of the pin cushions from my wist or any pincushion that you think would suit my taste

cat tent that looks "piratey"

black scoodie in fleece with hood part lined in something silky so my hair won't get crazy

sz. 2 black and white polka dot swirly skirt ( for a 5' tall woman) ( simple is great, doesn't need to be super swirly, just have a bit of swish in it)

sz. 51/2 mukluks with fake leather soles ( looking for that speed knitter again)

anything off my wist  ( please read tags)

wool felt ( scraps are fine, its for a penny rug)
any Japanese craft book
bias tape makers
rotary cutter
any knitting loom ( any size, made of anything)
dmc floss ( please only dmc brand)
sublime stitching transfers for hand embroidery ( monkey love, zombies, or vital organs) ( It's okay if you've used a couple of the patterns and just send me what you didn't use from the package)
transfer pens
interfacing ( prefer med. or heavy and fusible)
sushi print fabrics
all purpose thread ( new please)
any craft books or magazines

vintage children's books
Bunny Suicide anything
cat toys/treats
gluten free treats ( people treats, not cat Grin)

Thank you so much for claiming me!

I claim gamemom42 for Yoga Socks!!   Cheesy
This is my First claim/0 sent/0 received.

HI!  This is my first OWS and I am excited and nervous at the same time!!  My name is Nicole.  I live in Wisconsin, USA.  I'm allergic to ALPACA!!! Also mildly to dogs, bees, the color PINK (yuck!), people that litter, most metals and synthetic fragrances. Cigarette smoke is nasty and gives me migraines. Think of all the craft supplies you could buy if you quit smoking!!  My favorite colors are food colors: olive, mustard, eggplant and I also wear a lot of black and navy.  I don't like pastels.  I am married, have three boys (10,6,3) and my dearest kitty, Izzy, recently passed away.  (I'm devastated, she was my little love.)

Crafted Wishes:
-Something warm.  haha, I'll let you run with this one.
-Ornaments.  NOTHING religious.
-A floppy, knit hat.
-Handmade paper.
-Personalized stationary.
-**A recipe box that holds 4x6inch cards.
-ANYTHING from my wists.  (Most items have comments about them...why I like it or other ideas.)  http://wists.com/elociNNicole
-An 'ugly' Christmas vest.  haha.  Repurpose a vest like Christmas threw up all over it.  (Like something a crazy old lady would wear.)
-**A stuffed Warehouse Mouse for my 3yo.  (He loves Imagination Movers and I can't find a mouse anywhere!!)
-Miniature paintings like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/26996313/cherry-original-miniature-painting-with?ref=fp_feat_10 I'd love a few of these with different subjects.
-A handmade bookplate stamp.  (Message me with what I'd like it to say...our last names...)
-My ETSY faves are almost better than my wists.  ANYTHING from my favorites: http://www.etsy.com/people/elociNNicole/favorites?ref=pr_faves
-I LOVE scarves.  Especially fabric ones.  See wists or etsy faves for ideas.
-2 'matching' cuffs.  One that says LEFT and the other says RIOT (my wrists are 7")
-**An embroidered piece that looks like my recently deceased kitty.  I miss her so much!  (I've got a ton of pics.)
-Art quilt for the wall.  I'd love a tree with 3 apples on it.  Not too country though.  I'll leave the rest up to you.
-Handmade 'Recycle' stamp.  I'd prefer the symbol over the written word.
-Hand-dyed roving.  (no alpaca)
-Handspun yarn. (no alpaca)
-An obi belt.  Black fabric, or a reversible one would be awesome too.
-Not sure how it would ship, but I'd love a terrarium.
-Fisherman style wrap pants.
-A cover for my Kitchenaid stand mixer in a solid color.  (White or chocolate brown)
-Decorative pillows.  Browns, tans and beiges.
-Thrummed hat.
-Fragrance beads.  (Vanilla scented)
-An embroidered piece of a paisley print.
-Raw Honey.  A total longshot... If you have bees, I'd love some of your/their raw honey.
-A new lunch bag for my husband.  This would have to be a little bit bigger than the norm.  He takes food in the plastic storage containers and heats it at work.  I can give approx measurements.

-**Wooden embroidery hoops....any sizes, the more the merrier.  (I've been keeping the work framed in the hoops so I've noticed my supply quickly decrease.)-Wool Yarn
-Craft felt...any colors, any blends.
-I have a Sizzix Big Kick and I'd love dies for it.  Especially snowflakes, holiday themes, LEAVES, geometric shapes. (I have circles already)
-**A frame/stretcher for silk dying.  (I have the scarf blanks, the gutta, the dye but no frame to stretch the work out on.  )
-The wooden mannequins used for figure drawing, I LOVE those.  I've always wanted a hand one.  (The animal ones are also pretty rad.)
-Snowflake stickers.  (I'll need a bunch for my holiday cards.)
-Blocking pad and pins.
-Yarn.  No fun fur or other novelty yarns please...I just won't use them.
-Those empty, clear glass ornaments you can fill.
-Self-striping sock yarn in very bold colors.
-This pattern:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-hudson-hat and maybe some yarn that would be appropriate for this.  (Bright, bold colors.)
-Yarn ball winder (longshot, I know.)
-Cotton fabric to be embroidered on.  (Solids, big pattern prints and small pattern prints...all is welcome)
-Vanna's Choice 100% acrylic, Worsted weight yarn.  I can't get enough of the eggplant color.  (specifically called 'Purple' Color 147)  I'd happily give any color a home.

Anything new, I'll note 'NEW' in front of it.  Thank You!!

Knitting goal for 2011: knit 500,000 stitches.  24,078/500,000 knit.  I think I'm going to need more yarn...
Have glue gun, will travel !
