I don't have room for a real tree this year.  So I made a plush one.

Here is the plush tree.  The fabric I used has gingerbread motifs on it,because I love gingerbread.  For "lights" I used sequins and seed beads.  The tips have "Holly" made from sequin leafs and E beads.

Here is a detail of the Holly and lights.  Note I put a gold heart on a gingerbread boy. Grin

This is great! We are skipping the tree this year and I wish I had something this adorable to replace it Smiley. The fabric you used is super cute and I like the contrasting shades.

Thank you! Grin

I grew up with stuffed trees.  We had a red and green one, and an all blue one that we hung little pictures of santa on.  I found a patten for one some time ago and this year sewed it up.

ooh that's really neat that you grew up with them!  I don't think I've ever seen it!  They are definitely really sweet, I'll have to keep a look out for a stuffed tree pattern so i can make a few Cheesy
