Hey all you crafties out there!  I have been searching high and low and I cannot find a video for hand stitching a book headband.  Anybody know of a good video or can just give me good written advice?  Thanks!

I'm saying this off the top of my head, so I may be wrong, but the only place I've seen book headbands mentioned were in my book "The Craft of Bookbinding" by Manly Banister. I followed the instructions in there and just folded a piece of cloth cut to the correct width over a toothpick, and then stitched over the folded edge with embroidery floss. It doesn't have to be that long. I could try to dig up the page and scan a diagram if you need it. Headbands aren't mentioned much anymore, but they make books look great, don't they?
