I organize a Sewing Saturday group once a month and I wanted a nice bag to take my sewing supplies to and from.
I used this tutorial... http://sew-whats-new.com/profiles/blogs/make-a-handy-sewing-caddy
I did add pockets on both the front and back of the lining and outer fabric.  The pattern didn't have as many pockets Wink

It is 13x6 and 7" tall
As you can see, it holds A LOT of loot.  This pic was taken after a very quick rush job on getting ready to go home.  I will say that I'm planning on making scissor cases for my scissor set that I take with me.  That will be next on my to do list....

I absolutely adore this bag!  I made it for myself in the One for Me, One for You the third swap - as a splurge.  My partner wanted a landscape quilt so I made one of those for myself as well.  Had I not organized and joined that swap, I doubt I would have made either for myself!  I'm glad I did.

Oops!  I missed trimming a thread end!  I'll get to that Wink

And the back side  Smiley
