Just finished the other half of Simplicity pattern 2396 - I am SO happy with how this turned out, even if the sides do not quite line up exactly right Cheesy  I searched all over for O-rings to attach the straps, but was unable to find them anywhere (even online!) so I just used D-rings instead.  If I do make this pattern again, I think I will lengthen the straps- they are a little shorter than I'd like, but other than that I am loving this bag!!

(Not-quite-matchy-sides!)

It is huge!  I think this will be great for traveling- lots of room for everything!

Cute bag. I also had problems finding O-rings, I finally found some at Home Depo.

Beautiful bag. Your sides look fine. We are always the most critical of ourselves.  Smiley Thanks for the pattern number.

Great idea for finding O rings at the hardware store iluvcrafting.

That is brilliant!  I will definitely look there if I make this pattern again (which I probably will - it was fairly simple to construct!)

Holy cow that's a huge bag!  I love the design - looks great!  And I think you're being a little overly-picky about the sides matching up - looks good to me.   Wink  I may have to try that one soon - very snazzy and doesn't look too terribly complicated!

Ditto on the size of the thing.  That's quite generous.  Also love the fabrics together.  Very nice!
