Penelopewaits what an AWESOME package Lisette did a great job. the book of shadows as well as the bag look professionally done. I would love to have that stone as a symbol of protection. It's all so BEAUTIFUL!!

yepsie!!! Urban Threads rules!
Thank you all for your lovely comments. But a little ode has to be given to my husqvarna embroidery machine. Which I first had to make friends with. I think this was the 4th attempt of the bag. He kept eating the fabric and it ended up in one big twisting knot of doom. After the 3th fabric dishes I give up on the use of golden metallic thread and tried using normal orange thread instead. In combination with the green fabric, also containing metallic thread, I think the machine gets too hungry.

I got right in there to Wist the bag and the rune stone with everyone else! Your machine embroidery is lovely, SofS, and it's not all the Husqvarna's doing. The machine only does the mechanical work; you were the one who made it look so good! I'm intrigued by the cover on the Book of Shadows. What's that fabric, and how did you apply it to the cover. It looks like a knit, which seems like it would be a nightmare to bind a book with. What's your secret?
