This is my first post here. Hi. (^_^)/

I'm trying to think of Christmas presents this year, and I've pretty much exhausted beaded things with Christmas themes over the last two years.  I think everyone in my family has at least one, and my immediate family has two or more... So I was thinking of making something a little more simple that I could just decorate.

The picture's a bit blurry, and his right foot is on a bit of an adventure, but we're working on that.  He's just my prototype since I did it a little different than my book suggested.  Anyway, in a perfect world I would have him sitting on one of those grape lights and attach to a regular Christmas tree light, but I really don't have the know-how, and I'm in Japan right now where Christmas tree lights run about $20 a strand, unless they're $1 and work for about 20 minutes.  So I don't want to spend a bunch of money messing around and trying to figure out how to get that to work..

I'm kind of at a loss on how to make him Christmasy though.  That was my initial idea, then once I finished I realized that really wasn't something doable this year.  I've seen so many cool crafts on here, and some super creative people, so I figured I'd ask.  How do you make an ornament out of an elephant?

I would do him a little scarf in red and white, and perhaps a little santa hat!
