The crow was a request, not something I think I would have done, but I am so glad I did. It made me push myself out of my comfort zone and I see I need to find more ways of doing that because that's how we improve right? It is so awesome to see such improvement in my work.

the most awesome wing I've made so far!

a skull cabochon, I've had a few folks say I  should make cabochons, so why not! This was actually another request though, but still glad I did it.

Another cabochon

And last but not least, a steampunk hummingbird! Isn't he cute Smiley

i think the steam punk crow is one of your best yet (except for the dragon eye pendants....NOTHING is cooler than those!)
love it! Kiss

I completely understand about being pushed out of your comfort zone. The new zombie pieces that I have been doing are far more advanced than the stuff that I used to do but I knew I wanted to do some for a local horror film fest that I will have a booth at. Now that I have done them, the next set of steps seems even closer. Keep pushing yourself and learning more how to advance yourself but at the same time, how to make your technique adapt to growing.

The hummingbird is my fave. I love him so much!

Thank everyone, you guys rock!

@graverobbergirl with a name like I think I could have said the crow would be your fave  Grin I think the wing is my fave, but the crow is right up there!

@edenkitty it's funny, my last wings I did were really a practice run for the crow, because I wanted it to be more steampunk than what I had been doing, I'm definitely getting more of a steampunk feel going on!

@nougatgee  Thankyou so much, it is a wonder to see what I made 6 moths ago to see these now, totally unreal!

@jellybean89  the funny about the hummingbird...it did actually start out as the crow! That particular profile screams hummingbird though and I could not for the life of me get it to look like a crow lol so I ditched the head, made a new one and voila! Hummingbird! Sometimes you gotta know when to stop and turn around, go in the other direction  Grin

@maxxev lol I'm hoping to make a new dragon eye this next week, I bet it looks so much better than the old ones!

@beautifulpirate You are so right about things seeming closer, more attainable. I don't know what my next step will be, but I think I will hit it more head on and with more courage! I so did not have you pegged for the humming bird ;P

@hgddm  thank you so much!
