Ezri B, you are way too hard on yourself, those fairies are fantastic! I love them both.  Grin

Yeah, those fairies are really great!   Wink

Also the mermaid ilovepaper stitched is extra cute.  Was that one your own design too?

thanks sewwabisabi, no she is an Aunt Martha pattern that I got on clearance at Walmart for 50 cents! Who new Aunt Martha had cool looking mermaids?

I think those fairies are beautifully done. I would be ecstatic if I did something like that.

Thank you for the compliments.

Ilovepaper, you are right. I am my worst critic. I really am proud of  both of them.

I am still unsure of what to do with them. I'm not really a pillow person. I have thought about making a tote for my crocheting stuff. I really don't know.

I can't believe that the mermaid pattern was from Aunt Martha! I wish I had seen those. That mermaid is great!

Ilovepaper, I think I commented on your mermaid in another thread, but just in case, I think she is so adorable!  I'd love to see some in other poses!

And Ezri_B, those fairies are awesome!!!!  You should be really proud of both of them!  I'm so impressed by your drawing skills, too!  Oh, on the colorized one, are her wings done in an iridescent?  I like how they're there, but they're not in your face.  I think that's a nice twist (although there's nothing wrong with some in-your-face wings, too!)  I've got my fantasy picked out, but it's sort of weird, but I'm going to embroider it anyway!

spaz muse, yes, I did do the wings in iridescent. I should have done them on a different colored fabric I think, but I do like the subtlety of it. Thanks for the compliments. I can't wait to see yours.

I did alot of those Aunt Martha transfers onto flour sack cloths for dish towels back in sigh school. *Sigh* I am thinking of making a set in purple shades for my sister as a college graduation/first apartment gift as I am pretty much poorer than broke. Any ideas for images to use? I want 7 altogether [days of the week but not themed, really] but lack any sort of inspiration. Well, I was already thinking of doing a mermaid. . . believe it or not, it kind of a reoccurring image that I use in art projects.
