I made this diaper bag for a close friend. I made one for myself when i was pregnant from of a pattern ( one of the few patterns i have ever done and it sucked!), so i looked at mine and kinda made this one based off of the approximate measurments of that one but a little different!

it features two side pockets, two square inside pockets, and another large inside pocket, also a pocket on the outside back of the bag. I used a small flap for a velcro closure which i am actually going to sew a hot pink button to! My friend is having a girl but wanted something that she or her hubby could carry around. And The hot pink button will be a teeeensy touch that screams "Girl!"

here are the pics! I am absolutely jealous of this diaper bag! I want to keep it for myself!

It looks so awesome! I love the fabric choice and design and the pockets. Oh the pockets are amazing! I would totally use this as a purse!

Very cute!  I love diaper bags!  Though I don't use them much anymore.  But I'm always looking at them, thinking Hmm, what else could I use that for? lol

Great job!  Funny you said that about the store bought pattern because I have heard so many people say that about bag patterns.  So...I keep to tutorials I find online, or patterns I buy from etsy.  Seems like they are more detailed and aren't missing steps or pattern pieces!

Your sewing looks great...nice straight seams Smiley Shape of the bag is nice too.

Thanks for sharing!
