A pox? How delightful, a pox!

A few months ago we had to have our old dog, my bestest friend, put to sleep. Normally the vet would have her cremated and send the ashes back to you. Well, we decided instead to bring her home and bury her on our friends' property, where she proably had some of the best times of her life. We put her to rest near the dog they had lost not long before, and this is the marker I made. It's kind of hard to tell in the pic, but the flower bead in the corner is purple to match her collar, there is glitter in her name (to catch the sun), and the star and hearts below the year glow in the dark.

RIP Dixie, Mama misses you every day.  Cry

This is my favorite pic of my sweet girl. It's hard to tell here because the angle makes her head look huge, but she was a BIG purebread German Shepherd.

Her marker is part of the yard decor at their place, but if this should be in the pet section instead feel free to move it.

If we weren't all crazy we would go insane.

I'm sorry for your loss.  It looks like she was a beautiful girl.

She was one of the best  dogs I've ever known, and this made me sad all over again.
