Me and MY pot belly love your top, and We think that your husband don't understand the sensibility of having a piece of clothing that is flashy, yet comfortable

I think it's fab

I kinda want to slap your husband on your behalf for ruining what should have been a proud moment.  Been there.  I don't ask my husband's opinion about anything that's important to me, because well, he's rained on my parade one too many times, which has rendered his opinion about a lot of things null and void.

I agree......Husbands have no opinions!  I like the basics of your shirt and it looks like its made very well.  It looks very long in the pictures, is it longer than hip length? I would like one similar.  I always wonder how will I ever find time to sew all this stuff?

Good Job, Congratulations!

So awesome! Seriously gorgeuos!
I'd take your hubby's comment as a compliment. HE knows you're foxy but that top will show EVERY guy that you're foxy and that might mean competition. My BF does the same sorta thing. That's his first reason. His other reason is he hates when I look killer and he looks lame. Either way, he ends up all super insecure and whiny.
I wouldn't mind a tut myself....

my bf is the same way. He hates when i get "dressed up" cause then he feels dirty and insecure. he hates when i wear stuff that shows my stomach. so he would like this one. anyways i absoultely love this. Smiley its goregous

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box

Thank you for the nice comments! I did a second top on the same style and this time my husband liked it very much! I did not ask him this time because I did not want my happiness to be ruined, so I just did not mention anything, but I was wearing it and when he came hoe and he saw it, he alone said: 'wow, where did you get that top?' so now I am happy!!!  Cheesy

I documented the 'process' for the second top, so I added the tutorial here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=36887.0

Hope it is clear and helpful!

I was just looking at your new one before reading your last post here and I thought, "Wow, that's really nice. It looks a lot like that other one I was looking at." Nice job on that one as well.
