Hi!  I was reading the "what do I give?" posts and thought I'd share a gift I made for a newborn that was a big hit.  I took photos of local signs around town and near her house, and then used photoshop to make this image with her name.  I got it printed in that "panoramic" size (10" long), and bought a cute, plain silver panoramic frame.  Her parents and grandparents loved it, and I do think it will be cherished for a long time.

Edit:  Here is a new one I made (4" x 6").  The "T" is from the apartment complex sign where they live, the "O" is from where the dad works, the "M" is from where the mom works, and the "A" is from their favorite restaurant.

The "V" in the last name is actually the base of Charleston's new famous bridge.

They are moving out of the country in a few months, so I thought this would be a nice gift for their new baby boy.

Edit:  Here is another new one I made (5" x 7").

That is very nicely done! I can see how the new parents would be happy with something personalized and original.
I agree that it would be nice for adults especially as an anniversary gift! Maybe with the last name and est with the wedding year.
Good job!

Adorable baby and nursing mama stuff at a great price!

Thats very unique!  I love it.. and I think I will steal the idea for a "just because" gift, for my boyfriend.

This is the best idea ever. My sister is having her 2nd boy and I was at a loss on what to give her. But this is perfect. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Ooh, great idea!  I have a new nephew and another nephew or niece on the way, so I'll be using this idea!
