I love the look of Japanese bunka dolls, so I looked up some tutorials and tried my hand at making some. They're very simple and addicting to make it turns out! Smiley I haven't gotten the hang of bonnets yet, so all of them have hoods. I used these tutorials as a basis and drafted my own pattern.

More traditional, I painted her face with acrylic. I think I like the embroidered face better though. Smiley

Most of the fabrics are vintage squares that came together, I think they were for a quilt. Smiley
