i want to make a pair of poppets (that was fun to say), but i cannot figure out how to change the poppet pattern i have, to be more masculine.  Huh can anyone help me?? i want them finished by Xmas, if at all possible.

oops, forgot to say shes nearly completed, he hasn't really been started.

I find the hair makes the doll. As does the bottom. So I made my guy's body more squared instead of round, flattened his rear a bit, and beefed his arms and legs up a bit. I did faux fur for hair and that makes a difference. It's also all in how you style the face. No eyelashes, make the eyes less "pretty" (no glitter or sparkles) make the lids more natural(use the same fabric as you used for skin), etc. Hope that helps!
It's the little things all added up that make the doll awesome!
