Got back from the inlaws yesterday and found a note in the mailbox that I had a package that was waiting at the PO .... could it be??  We have a large rural mailbox, so this box must be huge!

I brought home a terrible head cold from T-day (thanks to my b-i-l). I slept the whole 3 hour trip home, fell asleep on the couch only to wake up about 5 pm yesterday to go to bed.

My mailbox has had an uneventful last couple of days...I hope it gets lively today or Monday!!  I'm also waiting on a shipment with our luggage for our upcoming NH trip to show up...it should have come yesterday according to my last check on the FEDEX site.  Damn holiday shipping delays!

It's Here!
It's Here!
It's Here!

Did you hear my squeals of delight??

Paul went to the PO Saturday (we've had guests since then).

I don't have pictures yet, but boy-O!!!  What wonderful gifts!!

I don't have a clue who my Secret Santa was, but she couldn't have put together a better box for me!  THANK YOU!

I lasted a whole 4 hours before opening the wrapped gifts .... it was my Mother's fault, really ... she said she wouldn't open them if I didn't. (when in doubt, blame Mom! LOL!)

Unwrapped:

Snowman Soup Mix (which my husband promptly claimed as his and enjoyed 3 cups Saturday afternoon!)
Chai Tea Mix (which my mother & I each had a few cups, she has never had chai tea before)
2 quarts of Mexican Bean Soup in a Jar (can't wait to try these!  We're big soup eaters in the winter)
3 crocheted snowflakes (which will adorn my Christmas tree)
embroidered/painted hoop of Nativity Scene (did I mention I collect Nativities??)
2 bundles of roving
2 Jacquard dyes in my favorite colors, emerald and burgandy (& I don't have those colors in my dye mix yet!)

Absolutely PERFECT!!!

You're the Bestest!!!

THANK YOU!!

Wow!  mullerslanefarm, that sounds like such a yummy package (and yes, I think fiber and dyes are yummy even though they're not edible Wink).

Okay.  I'm curious.  What's in snowman soup mix?!?  I'm thinking carrots, stone and ice...but I'm probably wrong Roll Eyes  Do tell!
