So in honor of my all time favorite zombie movie franchise I decided to create and RE themed Snuggie, to keep me warm at my desk.

I used the directions from this site to make the actual Snuggie.....

They tell you to buy 3 yards of fabric, but with me only being 5,1' I found this a little too much. Next time I think I'll only go with 2.5 yards. Making the Snuggie only took about 30 minutes, so it's a pretty quick project, the Umbrella Corporation logo however took FOREVER. I didn't have any interfacing so I glued the triangles into place with washable glue (to insure they wouldn't move around on me during stitching), and let them dry over night. After the glue dried I started to hand sew the logo, which took about 1.5 hours to complete.

I only ended up spending about 14 dollars on this project, due to an sale at my local fabric store. So if your bored one weekend this might be a nice (cheap) craft for you.

I'm thinking about making another one for my cousin's birthday (she's obsessed with snuggies), minus the Umbrella Corp Logo.

Thanks for checking out Smiley

I love this!! I love the games/movies/all around story and this is an awesome Snuggie! I've been wanting to get one of these for sitting at the computer. You have inspired me to make my own. Thanks!

Gahhh so cool. I'm a gamer too, I just might make a fallout snuggie... Thanks for mentioning the fabric amount as well. I too am short, and my store-bought snuggie is much too long on me.
