So like I had posted a couple days ago I've been trying to think of handmade things to give to my friend for her birthday. I came across the post for Baby Monsters (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=351953.0) and decided it didn't look to hard to make. I didn't have any eye's but I went ahead anyway. So here is how it turned out:

The center of the eye is supposed to be lime green, but I guess I was to close with the camera.
And this is a pic of my monster next to the original Baby Monsters posted by Alliecat30

I know nothing is as good as the original so their is no comparison but I am thankful for the post and inspiration.
Thank you Alliecat30.

He is so cute!!!!  I'm so glad you posted this! Cheesy  I really love how you put little poofy hair on top---is that fun fur yarn?  Nice touch!!!  I teach a "Beginning Amigurumi" class and this is the project we learn, and I will have to now add the option of hair to the list!! Smiley

@ Alliecat30 -> I wish I lived near more yarn shops. The closest one to me is an hour away.  You bet thats fun fur. I wanted to add a little something to it because the eye was so boring. I just crocheted it in the round a couple of times. I'm sure you knew that tho. I am glad you like it.
@ Ruby Copperhead -> I am glad the kids love it, and it doesn't take long to make. I know my friend will love it, and my son keeps sneaking off with it, hiding from me, and playing with it.
