Ok -- so I figured I would post some ideas here from what i've decided to do for my own birthday party next month. But, I would also love new ideas.

Here are mine:
1. Zombie piata (I'm going to try and make this myself)
2. Brain Jello Mold/Brain Cake (I haven't decided yet!)
3. Zombie Fingers (a yummy lady finger's dessert plus red frosting and stuff...)
4. Zombie Punch (fruit punch (probably spiked!) with a frozen punch hand floating in it (made from freezing punch in a washed out latex glove if it is possible...)
5. Pin the Limb on the Zombie (a la Pin the Tail on the Donkey)

I plan to also have Dawn of the Dead (original) on while the party is going on. But, I am at a loss for other cool things and would love to hear your ideas!! It would be greatly helpful Smiley

Oh, also, I plan on putting together a Jill Valentine costume to wear Cheesy! (If you don't know who Jill Valentine is -- she's an awesome Resident Evil video game character. hehe)

I think your party theme is very cool and unique!
I can't think of anything other than what you already have planned except for if you are planning on handing out any favors or goodies you can wrap them up in gauze.
Can't wait to hear how your party turns out.

That is a glorious idea! Zombies are an obsession of mine too.

Have a zombie dance party, everyone loves a good excuse to hobble about like the undead.

zombie jello molds are good..especially when they are spiked with vodka...mmmm..brains... I mean uh, jello..

Maybe you could also get some zombie themed music to play..The soundstracks from all of the Return of the Living Dead movies are good. There is lots of good zombie party music out there!

Sounds like it will be a great party!

I always get freaked out those games where you have to put your hand into some hidden place and guess what your touching (and by blind folded taste-tests, by the way)

You could create (out of a card board box and black fabric) some boxes which people have to stick their hands into...then have creepy things inside. Maybe there is a goal, to find a treasure/candy/key whateveror it could just be for fun, such as make people guess what it is? But I would do it just for gross factor.

On the grosser side, one of my favorites is peeled grapes in a bowl with olive oil or water...they feel like eye balls! I'm sure you can come up with a few other equally squeamish substances

My! Aren't you a cheeky kitty!

If youre going for the spiked drink, look at this page:  http://www.drinksmixer.com/cat/374/
theres a drink called the zombie, bacardi makes one premade. its nice and strong, a bit "tropical"...but anyway, for more ideas you could:

Decorate your house (or wherever the party is going to be) like a swampy graveyard
They have these for halloween, but Im sure you could make your own- bloody hand/feet prints on the floor...theyre window clings that you put on tile, lenolium, wood, windows
Is it going to be a costume party? That would be fun too.

Eyeballs in gauze baggies would be fun...

Oooooh. Such good hints and suggestions! Thank you!

One of our plans was for a zombie pinata. I have the head ready to go. The body will be done shortly, if at all. Hitting a zombie head seems kind of fun since you'd be getting "braaaaiiiiiins" as a prize. (ie candy/goodies)

In other news, we are creating "Survival Horror Gift Bags" containing: glow in the dark eyeball superball, cap gun, and gooey 'body parts" candy (if we can find them) and maybe some bones candy.

What else do you think we should put in them?

(My boyfriend and I also found a alcoholic rum-based drink called Zombie that we're gonna try out too!)
